most of the time I go out with my girlfriend, I pay everything, and I think it’s fair. I know she spends a lot of money to keep herself nice and tidy, buys beauty products and clothes that are usually more expensive than mine, so if she paid half of the bills for our dates, it would definitely be heavier for her than that for me. but of course we always order the same things in restaurants, or with compatible values. this is common sense.
