Hi, I don’t like to come and go right away correcting, but there are two errors in the article:

1) The word ‘American’ is actually American (you yourself wrote American a little further down)… the gentilic of a country is usually based on the ending of the full name, for example: República Federativa do Brasil ( simplified as brasil) = Brazilian, Argentine Republic (simplified as Argentina) = Argentine, United Mexican States (simplified as Mexico) = Mexican and United States of America (simplified as America) = American ).

If it were to be ‘Estadunidense’ (in Portuguese) or ‘Estadounidense’ (in Spanish), the Americans themselves would admit the spelling ‘Unitedstatian’ (in English, right?), but it would cause conflicts with Mexico for being called the United States Mexicans! In this case, the United States of America is only commonly referred to as the United States so as not to have greater ambiguities with the entire American continent (formed by 35 countries, 19 territories and 08 units of the federation of European countries…)!

Of course, I’m not in favor of them calling themselves the whole of America, but they also already know that’s not true… and, let’s face it: isn’t hating an entire country just because of its name pretty bad and pretty wrong? I have so many good friends who are American, some even personal and they are all great people, as well as great professionals!

And, in addition, to use the word ‘American’, they would also have to rename all the other words that start with ameri- and are based in the United States (of America), such as these: americo- (composed of, for example, American-Canadian), americanization, americanism, americanist, americanize, americanized, amerimanga and americanime!

Ah, yes: and also, by the logic itself (which is a bit flawed really…), British would have to be ‘reinounidense’ (in Portuguese), ‘reinounidense’ (in spanish) or ‘ Unitedkingdomer’ (in English)!

2) Youtuber is a foreign word not incorporated into the Portuguese language… that’s why it needs to be in italics!

Ah, yes, of course: answering your question, I was going to quote As Aventuras de Gui & Estopa e Zuzubalândia (by my friend, Mariana Caltabiano, from São Paulo)… however, you already mentioned them, right? But there’s still one more: Ticks and Catapults (by my friend, Almir Correia, from Curitiba)! In fact, Mariana and Almir released the characters from these three animation series for me to do crossovers (mixes) with those from two series of comics (in Brazil) or comics (in Portugal and Angola), which I myself created: Albert & Einstein e Sua Turma e Nina e Zoca (for the line of comics and fanzines Albert & Einstein e Sua Turma e Nina e Zoca Presentem…)!

Well, hugs and really forgive me for the corrections: it’s because I myself am somewhat demanding and a perfectionist with the language! Do you understand me well in this case? And that’s it now!
