Curtis posts his illustrations on his Instagram and on his website. The world knew him for a very sad reason. In August 2016, he posted on his Facebook page the story of the saddest moment of your life🇧🇷

“I drew the day we found out we had lost our baby. It’s weird to share something similar, because families usually don’t talk about it. I just didn’t know what else to do. This drawing shows so much more than words about it. my feelings. I hope that by seeing them, all those who suffer in silence today will realize that they are not alone,” Curtis wrote. His publication gained thousands of “Likes”, many media spoke about him and people thanked the artist for his honesty.

The illustration became even more tragic, because, before it, the artist did an incredible project: over the course of a year, he portrayed every day of his life with his wife.

The doom did not end with Curtis. On the contrary, she taught him to value his family even more. The artist continued to draw tender and moving vignettes about his wife and two children.

Although today the drawings are not published daily, he remains in the habit of documenting the warmest and most memorable moments.
