On the other hand, Penélope Cruz, after gaining fame in several series on Spanish television, got a role in Hollywood. For that reason she decided to spend two months in the United States and, although she didn’t know anyone, her intention was to make her way in the big industry.

Fortunately, Penelope met Salma. Before, they had only spoken on the phone. Salma, knowing that Penelope was going to Los Angeles, decided to help her without thinking twice. The Mexican actress understood very well how difficult and lonely it was to stand out on the big screen in Hollywood productions.

Penelope arrived in Los Angeles with the idea of ​​staying in a hotel, but Salma not only offered to pick her up at the airport, but also told her: “You are not going to a hotel. Go to my house, because that’s hard at first. You will feel very alone”.
