Properly maintaining a house or apartment is like following a list of needs and tasks that must be fulfilled on a daily basis. Caring for the environment in which you live determines, in part, your quality of life, since clean and organized environments tend to bring benefits related to physical and emotional well-being. Among these needs are the organization and house cleaning.
At first it might seem fun to organize the books on the shelf, keep the closet tidy or run a broom around the house on the weekend. Over time, however, the repetitive routine of home care ends up tiring even the most dedicated housewife.
Wash the dishes, for example, is a constant necessity. So that it is not an ordeal, write down these tips for care and facilities when facing the sink.
Detergent or bar soap?
The detergent was developed to facilitate the removal of grease. In addition, it can dry your hands more easily than bar soap. This one perfectly solves most cases of dirt, so it’s worth leaving the detergent to be used only on the most greasy dishes. Another tip is to use soda soap instead of coconut soap, since the second is more suitable for washing clothes. Most brands offer both options.
Cups
Glasses should be washed first, because they are usually almost completely free of grease, which prevents your washcloth from getting greasy from the very first item in the sink. Start by rubbing them all – inside and out – and then rinse one by one. This procedure saves water.
Cutlery
Continuing the “fat scale” are cutlery, which is the least greasy item after glasses. Proceed in the same way as with the glasses, rubbing them one by one and then rinsing them all at once. Be careful with the curves and spaces between the tines of forks and knives, so you don’t leave any dirt behind.
Plates
When you’re done eating, go to the trash can and throw away any leftover food that may have been left on the plates. When placing them in the sink, pour water over them to prevent the residue from hardening, this makes things easier when washing them. Rub them inside and out, stacking them before rinsing.
Pots, pans and molds
Start with plastic pots and bowls. Then move to the pans, always washing from the least greasy to the most greasy. Finally, dedicate yourself to the shapes. In either case, it is worth adding water beforehand, to soften the dirt and make the work easier.
Finish the task by washing the tub (inside the sink) and the outside of the sink. This is important to keep the environment clean and hygienic. Scrub quickly with the loofah and neutral soap and rinse, then dry.
