A paranormal story that happened
I have a story for you, something that scared me terribly at the time and still makes me think about her experience today.
This story is about a friend of mine, let’s call her Lily to protect her privacy.
Lily arrived in our town with her family when I was in middle school.
She was a blonde girl who seemed so sweet and polite. My friends and I absolutely loved her, and we immediately let her join our little girl team to help her integrate and feel comfortable with all the changes she needed to be en through.
I still don’t know anything about her past. I don’t know exactly where she came from and I’ve never seen some of the family members she claims to have had.
She was mysterious but cute and funny, so we hit it off. Time passed and I realized something was wrong with Lily. She often spent time alone and often had dark eyes that startled me at times.
As we became closer friends, she told me and my friends some creepy stories about talking to shadow figures. about her dream about the devil, her house being haunted by a ghost, and some other weird things that were, to be honest, too much for 10 years
One day I remember she invited us over to her place and the house was almost empty even though she and her family had been living there for a long time. While we were there I had the strange feeling of not being alone in the house.
I tried not to remember the stories she told us about her house being haunted and because I was strong I wanted to be a badass in front of my friends. We were playing around and eating popcorn when she decided to create a rudimentary Ouija board as she wanted to talk to her late grandma.
I wasn’t convinced, so I decided to see and stayed away from the board. As I was getting ready for the session, I saw her peer over the corner of her room and with a scowl and a grin she said, “He’s here.”
I FREAKED OUT, so did my friends, we then ran out of the house and called our parents to pick us up.
The next day Lily came to school with a lot of resentment and told us that we had made “him” angry and after we left she was playing with the Ouija board by herself and suddenly all the windows of her house had exploded. I laughed so hard at first because it seemed like a big lie.
She kept saying that she was telling the truth and that things kept getting worse because we didn’t want to play with her. Later that day her mom came and picked her up from school early and guess what? I never saw her again. She and her family disappeared into thin air. Even our school was shocked.
So my parents and I decided to go over their house and see if they were still there, but the only thing we could see was that all the glass of the window was shattered like they had exploded.
What do I think happened? I think Lily was so used to playing alone with the Ouija board that she was already connected to an entity that saw her when we were at home with her. I think her family knew this and maybe it wasn’t the first time something similar had happened to them and they were forced to leave another house.
Few years ago some old friends of mine who were also friends with Lily decided to look her up online via Facebook and Instagram but nothing. It’s as if she never existed.
