Brazilian pizzeria organizes a “pizza day” at a day care center (and we love the idea)

Around 5 billion pizzas are sold around the world annually. “Rounds” are probably the most global dish there is. Anywhere in the world you will find one to enjoy. In Brazil, it is estimated that around 1 million pizzas are consumed per day. But, even with all this popularity, there are those who have never had the opportunity to try a pizza. A case like this happened here in Brazil, leading to an incredible solidarity action.

It all started when Gabriel, a boy who had just arrived in the small town of Alegre, in Espírito Santo, told Manoel, the owner of the pizzeria Serve Bem, that he had never tried a pizza and that he had only seen them in photos and drawings. Upon hearing this, Manoel immediately sat down with the boy and asked for a “round” for both of them. From that day on, the entrepreneur told himself that he didn’t want to hear another child say the same thing again and thus created the initiative that we will show below.

Since Manoel never saw the boy again, he decided to look for him at the day care center where Gabriel was enrolled. Then he learned that his family had not yet settled in the city. The businessman, then, was not satisfied. He decided to get in touch with the director of this day care center to give all the children a special day, full of pizzas. His idea was well received and, along with others, it was put into practice.

On this special day, the entire pizzeria team made their contribution to offer the best pizzas to all the children in the day care center. For Manoel, it was a day of great joy. Imagine the satisfaction of making so many children happy.

On the 20th of August, Manoel made more children happy. This time, it was in Araraí, about 50 minutes from Rive, in the Alegre district where the pizzeria is located. As in the previous action, Gabriel got in touch with the school’s managers, who received the idea with enthusiasm — after all, in this case too, the day care center depends on people’s help.

Once again, Manoel and his team worked hard to bring the kids hot pizzas. Everything so that they could have a great experience and a great memory — just like in Gabriel’s case, many have, in these situations, the opportunity to taste a “round” for the first time.
