But, it turns out there’s also a relationship between the thickness of the frame and the strength of that print. Rimless glasses have a lower convincing ability than those with a thicker frame. So, if someone wants to look smarter, it’s better to wear this kind of glasses, like the ones Clark Kent wore.

The American physicist Leonard Mlodinow believes that a certain way of speaking helps to create a good impression, as if the person is an intelligent person, even if this is not the case. For this, it is necessary to pronounce it clearly, without dramatic pauses, and not to resort to specific terms if there is no certainty that the interlocutor will understand. That’s because it’s possible that he thinks he’s doing it on purpose to make him look more ignorant. To be an intelligent interlocutor, one must be a pleasant interlocutor.

According to the results of the study, carried out at Charles University in Prague, people who smile seem not only more benevolent, but also more intelligent than those who hide their smile. This applies more to men, probably because women already smile more often, or because a smile on a woman’s face is poorly associated with presumed superficiality.

A team from Princeton University carried out an interesting study that revealed the relationship between the simplicity of the written text and the reputation of its author. It turns out that the simpler the text, the more intelligent the author is considered by his readers.

Graphics will add to the text the modest charm of science that tries to be understandable to ordinary people. And nothing happens if many people don’t understand the graphics, the important thing is the effect they cause on the viewer. The Cornell University team came to the conclusion that a text with graphics convinces the reader more than a text without them, generating credibility in the author and creating a reputation as a talented person.

Thanks to an unusual study, it was discovered that people whose walking speed was different from others were not considered to be very smart. And not without reason. After all, they get out of the general rhythm of the human flow, provoke bumps, falls, coffee stains from splashes and discomfort in others. If someone doesn’t want to be considered a fool, then he should walk like everyone else.

Yes, at least react to the jokes of others. Society already considers this as a sign of a person with intellect. The ability to joke is more of a pleasant perk, while the ability to react to others’ humor is a pure necessity.
