You might just be making excuses to stick with him. You may be trying to do his every wish. You might be trying to comfort yourself with all those lies you’ve been making up in your head.

He doesn’t treat you badly because he’s tired. He doesn’t act cold and distant because he’s stressed. He hasn’t been acting this way just because there are so many things going on in his life.

Not. He’s not fighting for your love for one simple reason: he doesn’t love you. And that’s the truth. Deep down, you know it’s true.

You know he’s not being shy or cautious. You know he’s not the type of guy who’s withdrawn and isolated. He is not intimidated by his alpha personality or his strength and bravery.

He’s not a guy who’s afraid of the love you’ve been giving him; it’s just that he doesn’t really love you enough to reciprocate those feelings for you.

All men love the thrill of ‘the chase’. It’s part of human nature. Everything in this life is much more meaningful if it is achieved with perseverance and hard work. Nothing in this life is worth having if it’s easily conquered – especially love.

And that’s why if a guy truly loves you, he’ll do whatever it takes to earn your love in return.

Men always love to take things into their own hands when it comes to love. They don’t like to sit idly by and wait for love to fall into their laps. Men go after the things they want when it comes to matters of the heart.

Men chase the women they love. So, if you notice that your guy isn’t chasing you, it’s probably because the love he feels for you isn’t real; it’s probably because love is non-existent.

Of course, he could be saying all these things to justify the fact that he’s just not totally into you. He could tell he’s too busy. He could tell he’s dealing with a lot of things at work right now.

He could say he’s still trying to fix some personal issues and that’s why he can’t commit to you yet. And all these things may even be true.

But know that if the love he feels was real, none of these things would matter. Love always has a way of being able to transcend barriers and overcome obstacles.

So if he’s not acting like he truly loves you, it’s because he isn’t. And that’s a hard truth you’re going to have to swallow.

Love isn’t something you can force, after all. Yes, you can choose to wait for him in hopes that he will end up loving you. Or you can also do the sensible thing and just walk away. Let him go. He doesn’t love you and probably never will.

You deserve to be with someone who loves you in exchange for the same measure, and you won’t get that from him.

Don’t use the excuse that men aren’t expressive with their feelings just to get on with it. You say he loves you, but he’s not really ready to admit it.

But the truth is, you can tell how a man feels about you, not necessarily by what he says, but by the way he acts. And if he’s not putting any effort into you or the relationship, then the answer is already right in front of you.

You are being too stubborn to accept this. So just accept that you shouldn’t be together. Have the strength and courage to simply walk away from this situation. And have faith. Trust that eventually you will find the man you’ve been waiting for.
