10 Intense and Unusual Moments from the Wedding Factory program

Can you imagine getting a complete wedding for free, without having to deal with anything, within seven days? This is the premise of Fábrica de Casamentos, a program aired by SBT that gives couples everything they ever wanted.

But not everything is rosy and there are some rules for the reality show happen. First, the couples who participate don’t know anything about what’s going on in the marriage stages. They can’t see decorations, taste cakes or anything like that. Second, the bride must not, under any circumstances, see her dress before the ceremony. These are simple rules, but they can be quite harrowing to follow. Commanded by Chris Flores and Carlos Bertolazzi, the program has a spectacular team and is full of moments of tension, joys and sadness of its participants.

Maisa and Caio were not the most demanding couple on the show, but they certainly had some unusual requests for the wedding ceremony. To give the team behind Fábrica de Weddings a little heart attack, the couple passionate about fishing asked for a fishing-themed ceremony, with elements of the Pantanal region incorporated into the party.

Well, so far, the program’s people have responded to all requests. What they didn’t expect was that the bride, coming from the countryside, would very much like to arrive at the church on a tractor! To give a romantic air to the vehicle, the team made a beautiful decoration and the bride almost couldn’t stand the tears. A happy ending to a somewhat different marriage.

This Wedding Factory episode was breathtaking! Cris and Nathan are vegans and their requests for their dream wedding should also suit that lifestyle. But what really marked this episode was the removal of the blindfold by the bride in her first fitting of the dress. One of the show’s rules makes it clear that they can’t see the dress until the wedding day. However, Cris was a little anxious when she felt the dress on her body. He didn’t seem to agree with the proposal that he show her the tattoo on her arm.

Stylist Lucas Anderi was disconcerted by the bride’s action and left the decision whether or not to continue the preparations in the hands of SBT’s management, which, in the end, decided to let it pass and gave the bride and groom a happy ending. Oh, and the dress turned out just the way the bride asked. Ufa!

Together since adolescence, Ana Laura and Thyago had only one wish: a fairy tale wedding, more drawn to Disney’s Cinderella story. And that’s exactly what the reality show delivered to them. From the delivery of the invitation, with Cris Flores dressed as a fairy, to the party itself, everything in this episode was a complete dream.

The bride and groom’s requests for the party included crowns studded with stones, a dress inspired by the royal family and a decoration that looks like it came out of a movie. To give an extra touch to the party, the bride went further and asked for the same menu served at Lady Di’s wedding, to the horror of the production!

And, to enter the ceremony, Ana Laura was inspired again by Cinderella and asked for a carriage that would refer to the ball at the party. Pure luxury, isn’t it?

Who has never been to a wedding and found the menu to be very fancy, but lacking in abundance? At Letícia and Max’s wedding it was exactly the opposite and it even made her want to participate in the party. After all, it’s not every day you see a tower of potato chips at a wedding reception.

The marriage, inspired by American culture, was also influenced by North American food chains and left no guest hungry! The central hamburger of the buffet weighed almost 20 kg and, for dessert, there was ice cream cake and a brigadeiro tower.

Carol and Fabiano’s love story also seems to have come out of a fairy tale. The bride, who has a fantastic job, is a mermaid in an aquarium located in São Paulo and can be said to be a real-life Ariel. To ask her to marry him, Fabiano put on a wetsuit and dressed up to make his beloved’s dream come true.

The wedding was mermaid themed and even had scales on the dress! But what really drew attention in this episode was the unusual request to have a cake in the shape of a kimono (because of the groom’s profession), but that contained something related to water, to fulfill the bride’s desire.

This wedding was full of surprises, but the biggest of all was the agility of the production, which managed to deliver a beautiful reception for the bride and groom, even after an unexpected storm destroyed all the structures of the place.

Of all the unforeseen, the couple Mariana and Osmar and the production of Fábrica de Casamentos, did not count on the climate itself, getting out of control and knocking down the structures set up for the themed wedding of games.

If the topic itself was already complicated for the team, imagine when the organizers saw the structure collapse. But hats off to Elisa Tavares, decorator and organizer of the party, who managed to reassemble everything in record time.

But it wasn’t just Elisa Tavares who had to turn around to solve problems at the ceremony. Lucas Anderi had heart palpitations when he heard that the bride would like to walk down the aisle wearing sneakers. But, as usual, everything worked out and the wedding was a blast!

Another couple that escapes the conventional. Camila and Douglas asked to have, in their wedding, the magic/medieval world/witches themes. Elisa, Lucas and Beca were terrified by the extravagant requests, which ranged from armor to owls delivering rings and even counting with dragon cakes and a black wedding dress.

But they were able to accurately deliver everything that was asked. Despite having criticized the idea, the stylist made a dress that mixed everything the bride asked for. Also, for the bride’s special request, which was to bring something magical to the party, the reality managed to get her to levitate during the ceremony, to mimic a witch’s powers.

The wedding party also featured a special tribute from Camila’s grandmother, who wrote a poem and touched everyone at the party.

The theme of this wedding was speed. The newlyweds Jonas and Halime were passionate about motor sports and luxury cars. The groom thought it was interesting to also bring technology to the party, and therefore asked for event animators who were dressed as robots and cars in the best transformers style.

But the biggest scare came when the bride asked for a wedding dress with lace, leather and glitter! Needless to say, Lucas Anderi got a fright when he heard the request, but it was when the bride said she would like to have the combination of her and future husband’s birthdays in some part of the clothing design that the stylist considered not being able to meet the all orders.

The most exciting part, though, was in the cake. For Beca, they asked her to make a cake that could convey the feeling of sharing life. That’s because, before they got together, Jonas had a serious accident, which was also the reason for the union of the two.

This couple is national dance champion country. Therefore, the theme of the wedding could be nothing more, nothing less than this musical style.

But the couple’s story is a little more complicated: Joelson and Wanesca met when the groom was dating her sister… and had a child. Family dramas aside, the two asked for a beautiful wedding filled with the things they loved most.

The first request was that a flash mob was performed at the beginning and during the party, with choreography country🇧🇷 Afterwards, the bride and groom ordered a buffet typical of the interior of Brazil, with the rib roasted on a ground fire and everything else they were entitled to.

So far, so good. It was when the bride placed her order for the dress that things started to get complicated. In addition to not wanting any lace, Wanesca asked to enter the ceremony wearing a hat and boots! What seemed impossible became reality and the result was amazing!

Finally, the bride and groom asked for a mechanical bull to entertain the guests. We can only imagine how much fun this party was!

10. The Mexican party and the colorful dress

Themed weddings are the most recurrent at Fábrica de Casamentos and the couple Juliana and Eduardo could not be left out of this one. Passionate about Mexican culture, they decided that everything on their special day would be inspired by the country.

At the beginning of the requests, the bride requested many colors. Nothing more, nothing less than a very colorful wedding, full of flowers, with desert cacti and sand. For the cake, something completely white and that could be colored with the candy that would fall from the piñatas hanging from the ceiling.

For the dress, Juliana asked for two pieces and that one of them be completely colored, much to Lucas Anderi’s despair. The designer’s unhappiness was such that, when he saw that the bride took gouache paint to her studio to illustrate her request, Lucas almost ‘had a meltdown’.

Maybe you think you don’t like reality shows, but that could just be because you still haven’t found one that’s “just like you”. The Brazilians and Fábrica de Casamentos are not just from Big Brother Brasil, they are there to prove exactly that.
