Flaxseed (linseeds) is a very cheap home remedy for colon cleansing. Even buying flaxseed with the best organic quality, you will not pay more than 6 euros per kilogram (usually much less) and you will only need a few grams a day.

The best way to take it is crushing the seeds and mixing them with water or other healthy drink. If the whole seeds were eaten, the digestive system would not be able to crush them and remove all their nutrients: omega-3 fatty acids with anti-inflammatory properties, B vitamins, proteins or lignans that regulate the endocrine system.

2. Psyllium Husk Powder

Psyllium husk powder is even more effective than flaxseed. It is a dietary fiber that binds to toxins in the intestine and creates a healthy environment for beneficial gut bacteria. Like flaxseed, it forms an anti-inflammatory gel.
