8 Accurate Signs You’re More Attractive Than You Think

It is common for all people to periodically question their own abilities, looking for all kinds of defects in themselves. In some cases, this is something useful, which leads to self-development. But most of the time, constructive self-criticism ends up turning into a self-destructive scourge, which prevents a full and happy life. And it was for those people who are going through a difficult period in these terms, and also for all those who experience this feeling even if from time to time, that we prepared this post.

In the name of healthy self-esteem, the awesome.club suggests that you become familiar with subtle psychological issues present in the behavior of other people that, directly or indirectly, indicate that you are much more attractive than you think.

1. Get few compliments from people

How often have you found yourself in the following situation: you were 100% sure of yourself and thought you were going to attract all eyes in a certain place, but instead, you didn’t get any compliments? Obviously, after that, anyone’s self-confidence is shaken, thinking that something might be wrong. However, this event indicates the exact opposite: you are an attractive person. And for what reason? It’s just that others think you already know how beautiful you are, and that you don’t need an additional reminder of that. People might even think you might be tired of getting too much attention. So if no one mentions the fact that you’re beautiful, it doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t think so.

2. Get compliments, but they seem bureaucratic

Let’s look at another facet of this problem: You rarely receive compliments, but when you do, they mostly seem sloppy and emotionless, as if they were said out of obligation. In situations like this, many people feel offended, for believing that those words are not sincere. However, it is just the opposite. In cases of this nature, we should be happy, because the one who praises actually uses the tonality rather carelessly, considering that his power of attraction is something given, and for that reason alone he sees no reason to emphasize it.

3. Unknown people try to make eye contact

It’s simple: a brief glance in your direction, which ends with a slight smile, is a friendly sign. A prolonged look directly into the eyes (obviously, also accompanied by a smile, as a serious look could indicate aggression) conveys strong emotions and reveals that that person has a great desire to meet you. There is still a third option: if the person continues to look at you even after you realize it, it is a clear sign of a serious interest, but with a concern to be discreet so as not to appear inappropriate.

4. When looking at you, people raise their eyebrows

We usually raise our eyebrows automatically and unconsciously when we are in front of a person we find attractive. You may not even care about it and not notice when you repeat this gesture, but on the next occasion, try to realize this moment when you meet that special person. This behavioral characteristic carries some connotations (and none of them have anything to do with surprise). First, this is how we nonverbally signal that we are friendly and not threatening. Second, it is a subconscious attempt to open our eyes wide to see better what is in front of us.

5. Your interlocutor is always ‘pouting’

Another thing we unconsciously do when we see a person we like: pout. Well, the gesture is not just a pose for selfies. We are talking about a movement that lasts a few seconds, but that is repeated several times. This happens, curiously, out of a desire to kiss you. In a sense, it can be compared to the act of licking the lips, only, unlike this, it is a less expressive gesture (in a good way), and not vulgar at all. If you get distracted while talking to a man or a woman, turn your back to the person or close your eyes, and soon after you realize that involuntary gesture, you already know what it means.

6. They don’t try to keep away from you, but gradually approach you

Do you tend to be around people you don’t feel anything for or even those you feel aversion to? Most likely you will answer this question in the negative, after all we try to keep people like that at a safe distance. If someone, during a conversation, provokes strong positive emotions in us, the physical distance is significantly reduced, and there may even be touches on the arm or forearm. You’ve probably noticed something similar in the course of a casual conversation, when, for example, you and your interlocutor burst out laughing over a joke. This signal is especially relevant and expressive when there is no objective need for approximation.

7. Everyone is surprised when they find out you have complexes

If people are genuinely surprised when they find out that you also have your complex issues and low self-esteem, it could indicate that your problem is being over-dimensioned and that, to the outsider, your life seems perfect. By observing you and evaluating how you look, other people get the feeling that you are totally self-assured and self-sufficient. In fact, an indisputable proof of this is not so much the surprise, but the irritation that you, despite having so many advantages, are bothered. It’s a reaction reminiscent of those that appear a lot in movies, for example, in the scenes in which a woman with a model’s body complains about being fat, right in front of her plump friend.

8. People are too nice or otherwise too nasty to you

Have you ever had to deal with a beautiful rudeness or an unexpectedly kind attitude? All this indicates that other people are attracted to you. Those who are sure of themselves and have no complexes, being always considered beautiful and successful, reflect this in their own behavior, appreciating the same qualities in others. Therefore, if a friend or acquaintance whom you consider a good person treats you with respect and consideration, it is because he also sees you in the same way.

On the other hand, all good people sometimes deal with the negative emotions of others, many of which are completely unfounded. The main thing to do is not to take it personally, nor to get angry with these people. Understand that they are simply unhappy, insecure about themselves, adopting this posture only out of envy and lack of self-esteem.
