Many of us have found ourselves in situations that couldn’t be immediately explained in logical terms. Sometimes, life throws us very curious surprises and coincidences. As in the case of one of our readers who came across a beautiful building, she wished she could work on it and a year later her dream came true. And many other similar stories on the internet.

The readers of awesome.club shared mysterious stories that are hard to believe, which may even make you feel a little uncomfortable.

I went with my eldest daughter to a restaurant. It was Friday the 13th. We were served fortune cookies. We opened a piece of paper that said, “Your best day in your life is January 4, 2006.” We nearly fell off our chairs because that’s my middle daughter’s birthday. We still have that piece of paper. There were no cell phones back then to tell my mother that she had become a grandmother. Her home phone didn’t work and she lived in another city. And you couldn’t call her at work either, since it was the weekend. On Monday, two days later, at 7 am she called me and I managed to speak with her. Before work, she specially went to the telegraphs and called us at home (she had never received a telegraph call). I was going on vacation. Before leaving, I decided to hide the money and documents I had left at home in a safe place. When I returned after the trip, I couldn’t remember where I had put them. I searched the whole house, still couldn’t find it. It had been a few days, and I was desperate. By the front door I have a wooden key ring in the shape of an owl. I once went with my grandmother to a passport office. The building was so beautiful that I looked out a window on the ground floor and thought, I wish I could work here. I dreamed that I was running along a long corridor in a green coat, looking for her. On a summer day, we were relaxing on the beach. We spread the towel out on the sand and a woman came over and said, “Excuse me, could you move the towel a little bit? Yesterday I lost a gold ring and today I dreamed that I should be here”. When I lifted the edge of the towel I saw the ring! It was unbelievable. On the way to school I always passed by a certain street. I was walking as usual when I saw a big white dog and had to take another path. On the second day, the same thing happened. Already on the third day, seeing that everyone passed by the dog without anything happening, I decided to take a chance. The dog got up, growled and wouldn’t let me pass. I had to back away and, at that exact moment, a brick fell from the roof of the building I was going to pass. He then crossed the street without stopping. I was going the same way, but I had to wait for a car to cross the street. At that moment I saw that he had turned into a clearing near a house, surrounded by tall bushes. The clearing was such that, having passed through the bushes, there was only wide open space, with absolutely nowhere to hide or run. Our cat had run away for weeks. One night, my mother dreamed of a place in the backyard where she was sitting. I was on my cell phone when, around 1am, she got out of bed and looked at me so strangely, in a way that gave me goosebumps. So she started looking for something, bent down to look under the bed and said, “Where is it?” I asked what she was looking for and she said, “A diamond! I can’t find my diamond!” So I said that if we had diamonds, they certainly wouldn’t be under the bed. Then she fell into a deep sleep. The next day, while I was tidying under the bed, I found her big pink plastic diamond. A few years ago I went to renew my passport, and I filled out all the forms they gave me. When I was finally attended to, the attendant left and minutes later returned with a folder with the same forms, handwritten by me and with my signatures. It took them 40 minutes to ask the purpose of my visit. They just thought that I wanted a second passport with different details. One night, I was sitting at my computer when I suddenly heard a strange sound. I walked around and didn’t see anything or anyone. I went to bed, and again that strange sound. And again, I didn’t find anyone. The next day, the sound reappeared. A thousand things went through my head. A few days later, as I was about to leave, I stopped in the hallway and saw that the wallpaper and plaster were falling off. At the time, I was 5-6 years old. I knew my mother was terrified of bugs, and once I started to tease her, asking her what she would do if hornets came into our apartment.
