7 Symptoms that allow you to recognize a future psychopath

The symptoms of a future psychopath can manifest from the age of 3, and the development of this anomaly can be facilitated by the attitudes of the parents, for whom the child’s strange behavior is seen as normal.

To explain this topic a little better, the awesome.club will exhibit certain characteristics of children with psychopathic characteristics. Many serial killers behaved this way in early childhood, but unfortunately, no one in the family notices it in time.

Let’s start with the “McDonald’s Triad”. There are 3 special signs of child behavior that indicate a likely predisposition of children to commit particularly cruel crimes. New Zealand forensic psychiatrist John McDonald developed this triad after analyzing around 100 criminals.

1. Mistreatment of animals

Cruelty towards animals is the most obvious symptom of psychopathic abnormality in a child. This is a specific zoo-sadism like, for example, “throwing a cat by the tail” to death. In this way, future serial killers vent their own anger and resentment on these helpless beings. Also, they later tend to murder their victims in the same way they used to kill their pets. The connection between abuse and psychopathy is so obvious that, in the United States, the FBI has begun recording cases of animal cruelty in its annual crime report. Look at the image below. It’s by Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer who was sentenced to 15 life sentences. Watch how you hold the cat.

2. Fire worship

3. Enuresis (bed wetting)

Of course, it cannot be said with 100% certainty that a child over 6 years old and wetting the bed will be a future maniac; however, this ends up being a source of humiliation for the child. Inappropriate parental response to an older boy wetting the bed, such as laughing at him and similar actions, can cause the child to go down the wrong path. For example, Andréi Chikatilo (the most terrible maniac in the former Soviet Union) suffered from enuresis, which is why his mother beat him constantly. Later, he began to enjoy watching children suffer in the same way.

We finished explaining the “McDonald’s Triad”. Now let’s move on to other characteristics of future psychopaths.

4. Violation of rules and prohibitions

Who in childhood, at least once, did not break his mother’s favorite glass or come home late? These small violations can be committed by all children. But those with traces of psychopathy feel pleasure and get a dose of adrenaline from breaking the rules, something entirely different from people without this problem.

This also applies to the emotion provoked by stealing. This concept was used by JK Rowling in “Harry Potter” when she showed Voldemort’s childhood. Remember, Dumbledore found toys stolen from other children in his closet. We cannot say that the young Dark Lord needed them; he simply liked to feel that someone had lost their favorite object.

5. Mind without remorse

If a child lies out of fear of punishment, it’s understandable, but if he does it out of principle, without remorse and with a confident face, it’s a clue to thinking something is wrong. Maybe he enjoys the lying process itself.

Another point: when a child with psychopathic traits is caught in a lie, they become angry and even hysterical (manipulating their parents in this way). Not because she feels guilty, but because they managed to unmask her.

6. Harassment of classmates

Of course, not all young bullies will be future maniacs. But they can become one of them for several reasons: desire for attention, for power, imitation of their parents’ cruel behavior, because of their idols, etc. However, among these reasons, there is one that can reveal the subject with psychopathic disorders: he harasses his peers and practices bullying because he takes pleasure in the humiliation process.

7. Insensitivity

Children with psychopathic abnormalities do not show fear as easily as their peers, do not experience stress to the same degree, and do not understand what empathy is.

And this is the explanation:

According to Heather Irwin, a psychologist at the READ Clinic (USA), the first year of a child’s life plays the most important role in determining the future of their psyche.

“Psychopaths don’t come out of nowhere. You have to analyze their early years, what happened to these children when they were newborns. For example, if they cried during the first 6 months and nobody approached them, nobody fed them when they were hungry , nobody helped them, so their brain remembers and registers that the feelings are completely irrelevant. And the rest of the brain structures start to form around that concept.”

Also, another interesting fact: if a child grew up in a favorable environment, but after the age of 5 he began to suffer some kind of violence, he is less likely to develop psychopathic traits, since his mind is already formed.

Therefore, parents are incredibly responsible not only for the child’s health, but also for their worldview and future actions. If your child has such abnormalities, it is always better to see a psychologist rather than trying to resolve the problem without seeking help.
