A Northern Inuit bitch named Zunni played the role of Lady in game of Thrones, but couldn’t get past the second episode. So Zunni was jobless and homeless. That’s when Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) decided to adopt her, as she teamed up with Zunni on set. As Turner explains, as a child, she always wanted a dog, but her parents never allowed it.

Will Smith and Abbie from I’m the Legend

It wasn’t just viewers who fell in love with the dog named Sam in I’m the Legend, played by a German shepherd named Abbey. The protagonist, Will Smith, was also enchanted by the dog! As the 2 created a deep bond during the filming process, separating them after the movie became impossible!

James Gunn and Oreo from Guardians of the Galaxy

the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, became friends with the raccoon named Oreo, who was a real-life role model for the character Rocket Raccoon. Gunn and Oreo even appeared on the premiere’s red carpet together!

That’s actually one of the main reasons he auditioned for a role in The delivery (2014), in which the main character rescues an abandoned puppy named Rocco. After the movie was released, Tom adopted Rocco in real life and, according to paparazzi photos, is taking the pup everywhere with him. Rocco still appears on the actor’s Instagram quite often!

When O’Neill’s character in Modern Family receives a female French Bulldog named Stella, immediately falls in love with her. The same happened in real life. On set, O’Neill took care of the puppy — whose real name is Bridgett — like a real father. She was born on the streets and later abandoned by her adoptive family. One day, an animal acting agency saved her, and after Modern Family, Bridgett has found a home.

Chris Evans and Dodger, from A Bond of Love

the movie star The Avengers: The AvengersChris Evans, met his co-star, Dodger on the set of A Bond of Love, in 2017. As Chris shared, the dog, a boxer mix, became the boxer’s best friend and the 2 have been inseparable ever since. Today Dodger is no longer a puppy, but still appears on his beloved owner’s Twitter account.

Brendan Fraser and Pecas, from Texas Rising

on the set of Texas Rising, in Mexico, some of the acting horses were harassing one in particular called Pecas. Brendan noticed this and took Pecas home. Later, as the actor shared, the horse also created a special bond with Brendan’s autistic son.
