Exercising regularly is the best thing you can do for your health. However, there is always something that stops us. For some, lack of time and laziness are the biggest enemies; for others, according to statistics, it’s the price of gyms.
To overcome these and other problems, the awesome.club found some alternatives for you to always stay in shape without having to leave the house.
1. Chairs for diving (or sinking)
The dip, or lunge, is one of the most important exercises to work your chest and triceps. Of course, not everyone has parallel bars at home, but a chair or two can be a good homemade alternative. Use your body weight and see how exercise helps you work and strengthen your muscles.
2. Weighted backpack for strength exercises
If you need to do exercises like push-ups or lunges, and going to a gym is out of the question, you just need a little weight. A good alternative is to use a full backpack. More experienced people can start with a lot of weight. If you don’t have a lot of practice, start with a light weight and gradually fill up your backpack.
3. Strength and flexibility with the help of the wall
If your goal is to strengthen your legs and torso, use the wall of your house as a tool. Handstand or even handstand pushup, stretches and yoga poses can be done using the wall. But always be careful not to overdo it.
4. Use the sofa as a bench
The sofa in your home can be used for much more than watching television. You can use it to do sit-ups, lunges, lunges, triceps and more. The sofa is a good alternative to gym benches and can be used in many ways to work out indoors.
5. Stairs for aerobic exercises
The most used equipment in gyms are treadmills and bicycles for aerobic exercises, an important basis for different types of training. If you can’t go to the gym, remember that the stairs in your building or work can also be used and give a very similar result.
6. V push-up instead of dumbbell bench press
The bench press and incline dumbbell bench press are very common exercises for strengthening and gaining muscle mass in the upper body. However, V push-ups are great alternatives to these exercises and can be done at home, without any special equipment.
What other home exercises do you know that replace gym equipment?
