40 Ash Wednesday phrases to turn to the Lord

Ash Wednesday marks the return to the path of conversion, change in behavior and surrender to Jesus!

In shades of grey, we repent of our mistakes and want to get closer to God!

Because we believe the Good News, we leave our mistakes behind and seek to please the Lord.

What makes us return to God is our change of attitude. It’s not taking with us the mistakes we’ve made until now.

God calls us to turn to a change of life, to surrender to Him. May this Ash Wednesday, we hear his call.

The Holy Spirit breathes into us renewal. He teaches us to open our hearts and start over.

Lent will begin and it is our time to prove to the Lord that all we want most is to live in His love.

Lent is not a time for sacrifice, but for maturing our faith and showing the Lord that we are ready.

In mercy, God gives us Ash Wednesday. May we also forgive those who have wronged us.

Ash Wednesday is not just about asking the Lord for forgiveness, but also releasing forgiveness to those who hurt us as Christ taught us.

May the time for conversion, salvation and a new life with God begin!

Believe in the Gospel, trust in the Lord and know that He awaits you back!

On Ash Wednesday, we are reminded of our origin: we are dust and to dust we will return.

Let the period of learning more about faith begin, of trusting God more and opening your heart so that He can heal you.

Every Christian needs to go through Ash Wednesday so that his faith can mature.

It is time to talk more with God, to be closer to Him and to prepare to celebrate Salvation.

Ash Wednesday turns our eyes to Lent and reminds us to seek the Lord more.

Is this the fast I would choose, that a man one day afflict his soul, that he bow his head like a reed, and spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Would you call this a fast and a pleasant day for the Lord?
