4 Puppies Found A Home Thanks To Actor Tom Hardy

No one in Hollywood loves dogs more than the likeable Tom Hardy. Some time ago, the actor again showed his love for these four-legged creatures, inviting his Instagram followers to find a home for the four Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies, who were experiencing a very cold weather.

The actor, basically, never parted with his faithful friend Woody and often took him to the film set and to important film premieres.

To honor his friend’s memory, Tom set aside his principle of not revealing personal information and wrote a touching letter, in which he expressed the depth of his feelings.

Being a huge dog lover, Hardy doesn’t pass up any opportunity to pet every puppy he encounters on set, as well as in his everyday life.

And, of course, the actor couldn’t ignore the story of some puppies that were cold on a cold January day.

The four tiny Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies, who were no more than 7 weeks old, were found in one of London’s parks.

The people who found them took the box to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. An employee of that establishment reported that, despite mild hypothermia, the puppies were completely healthy, but that the probability of finding a new home was almost nil.

What happens is that, in England, dogs with black coats are only adopted on rare occasions, because of the popular belief, especially among the elderly, that these animals bring bad luck and attract misfortune.

However, the fate of these four puppies collided with the famous actor. Hardy posted a photo of the puppies on his Instagram and invited his followers to find them a home in 8 weeks.

Naturally, a few hours later, there was already a long queue in front of the shelter: everyone wanted to adopt those little ones.

Today, the puppies named Emmeline, Lydia, Edith and Davison already have a new home. And the shelter even reports on its official website that the four puppies are doing very well with their new families.

We thought it was impossible to love the friendly Hardy even more, but he surprised us again.

This actor’s gesture shows that, no matter how famous you are, you can always find a space in your life to be a simple human being who cannot remain indifferent to situations of this type.
