I had a terrible work schedule and woke up at 2:30 am to be at work at 4 am. My downstairs neighbors played loud music late into the night and the rumble could be felt through my mattress. I went there and politely asked them to turn the volume down and they seemed to agree. However, as soon as I got back to my bed, they turned up the volume even more and the noise went on until 1:30am. Before leaving for work at 3:30 am, I turned my amp full blast, placed the speaker facing the floor, and left for my 12-hour shift. I had a roommate who loved loud music. One day, he turned the music up loud and left. I decided to fence in my yard and asked my neighbor if he could pay half the cost, but the man refused. I installed the fence and, soon after, he made one, in the back of his backyard, and tied everything to the one I made, without even asking permission. Some time later his dog made a hole in my fence and the guy told me to fix everything, and I refused. This neighbor then complained to the homeowners association and the law requires that if I have a fence I must keep it in good condition. I ended up fixing it up and painting the side of my fence that overlooked his backyard yellow, blue, green, black, and brown. He didn’t like it and complained again, but the request was denied. Angry, the guy painted the fence the color he wanted, but was forced to repaint it in the colors I wanted.
