In many countries there are organizations that shelter pets. They periodically run campaigns during which anyone can adopt a pet. but in the states
United they went further. All these groups of people came together to organize a day called “Clear the shelters”, the biggest action to find a home for
animals across the country.
we do awesome.club we decided to share pictures of this wonderful event. The last image (try to hold back the tears as you watch it) will show that these campaigns really work.
This year, the “Clear the Shelters” campaign was held on August 18th. This large-scale event was held for the fifth consecutive year.
“Pet adoption: 7 dogs, 19 small animals, 44 cats”.
More than 60 animal shelters across the United States participated in this action. The state of Washington, for example, was represented by the Washington Humane Society
Preparation for the campaign in Los Angeles
The animals were also anxious
Not only dogs and cats participated in the campaign. The Urgent Animals of Fort Worth shelter was looking for a home for two geese. And they found it!
And so was an advertising campaign by the center of the Humane Society Silicon Valley, which decided to extend the action for two days so that the kittens who stayed at the shelter could find a home
Organizers do not charge fees for adopted animals. All work is done by volunteers.
And now look at the animals that found a home and the happiness of the lucky ones who adopted a new friend
“I adopted Luna in New York”
“My father-in-law already had a kitten, but he found an ideal friend for him”
