20 animals that were awarded by nature

Albino turtles, black zebras, golden tigers and pink grasshoppers. Nature never ceases to amaze us. While some are easier prey, none go unnoticed. They always get a lot of attention from both humans and other animals. Today, we bring you a selection of photos that show how nature can be generous and unusual at the same time. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for an adventure through nature’s most curious beauty.

1. Blue and white peacock

These beautiful birds are well known for their lush plumage. Male peacocks need their feathers to attract the attention of females. Beauty and aesthetics seem to be a very important aspect for these birds. According to one legend, they were given a horrible voice and hypnotic beauty to make up for it. The peacock pictured is a rare combination of albino peacock and ‘normal’ feathered peacock.

2. Golden Tiger

This magnificent coloring is the result of captivity, and it is possible that it does not exist in nature. Scientists still don’t have a name for this color variation, which is caused by a recessive gene. Some call it the ‘golden tabby tiger’.

3. Pink Grasshopper

Recent research has shown that pink can become a dominant color among North American locusts. They were discovered in 1874, when they were called mutants, mainly because of their bright coloring. Some people call them luxury bugs.

4. Albino Turtle

5. Albino snake

This type of snake is very rare, perhaps the rarest of albino animals. It is interesting to know that albino snakes are not born completely white. The skin color becomes lighter with each month of life due to the lack of dark pigmentation.

6. Antarctic fur seal

They are found in the cold waters of the north and are not common seals. Your skin is covered in fur. Sea lions came from the same ancestors as dogs and bears. Approximately one in every thousand wolves has a pale ‘blonde’ variation, which is extremely rare.

7. Young otter and its albino mother

Commonly found in freshwater ponds, otters love water. However, some people say that their behavior is a little destructive, especially when they are looking for food.

8. Lobster half red half blue

The half blue, half red lobster is a rarity: one in 50 million. But it is not nearly as rare as the white lobster, whose proportion is even lower: 1 in 100 million. Two-color lobsters are hermaphrodites.

9. White Kangaroo

This baby kangaroo’s fur is incredibly white, and it looks even whiter next to gray kangaroos. Gray helps them protect themselves in the wild. Albinos are more vulnerable and suffer a lot from the effects of the sun. One of the first white kangaroos was seen over 5 years ago in Australia’s Namadgi National Park.

10. White Seneca Deer

11. Melanistic and albino zebras

Unlike albinism, melanism is the overproduction of melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. Some animals, like zebras, do not completely lose their pigment. A melanistic zebra is not entirely black, it just has more dark spots than others.

12. Black frog

Your skin pigmentation is super strong. Black frogs are impressive, as are black frogs. The contrast in skin color doesn’t help them much, as they are easy prey for other predators. But that they look beautiful, we cannot deny that.

13. White horse

This type of horse is born and stays that way for a lifetime. They have the dominant ‘white’ genes, and this is very rare. They are often referred to as gray horses, and should not be confused with albino horses. The dominant white gene is very rare but appears in different breeds.

14. Kermode Bear, also called ‘spirit bear’

He lives in central and northern British Columbia, Canada. They are also not albino, and at least 200 species of their race are white/cream in color. The indigenous people considered them sacred, and their hunting is prohibited.

15. Silver fox

A melanistic form of red fox is the silver fox. This happened when she was domesticated. Historically, it was very noble to wear fox fur clothing, especially in Russia, China, and Western Europe. Color can vary from silver gray to dark black.

16. Melanistic gray seal

17. Albino snail

Nature did not let them camouflage themselves. One of the first albino snails was found several years ago in New Zealand. As the color is very striking, they are easy prey for many predators.

18. Pink hippo

This hippopotamus was discovered two years ago in Kenya. Its color is the result of leucism, which causes the skin to produce less pigment than normal. However, he is not albino. Nature really is able to show us beauty in different ways.

19. Cat with Two Colored Eyes

The cat is perhaps the best-known animal on this list. Two-color eyes are determined, once again, by a genetic ‘confusion’ in the developmental stage. The pigment does not reach an eye and the difference appears. In most cases, these cats have one blue eye and the other green or brown.

20. Black sheep

The image is self-explanatory.

Nature is really impressive. Which animal has impacted you the most? Have you seen any of them in real life? Share your opinion in the comments.
