17 People Followed Advice From Internet Users When It’s Time To Apply Makeup And They Did Very Well

Not all reviews are bad. On the contrary, when they are constructive, they can help us with something we want to improve. More and more people are interested in makeup and it’s always good to hear a second opinion from someone who has been practicing this same hobby — which we’re starting now — for some time, and the internet is a great place to exchange opinions and learn new techniques.

How do we awesome.clubwe like to encourage our readers to exchange ideas on various subjects, we show here 17 examples of internet users who were not shy about asking for help when it came to applying makeup and still got positive responses.

“I followed the advice of the staff and changed a few things but I’m still having problems with my eyebrows as I keep worrying that they might look ugly”

Answer: “If using an eyebrow pencil is something you’re worried about, you should start with a clear and fluffy eyebrow gel, as it’s basically foolproof, and adds a bit of definition.”

“Eye makeup tips?”

Answer: “I think these colors go well, but you seem to need a little more definition and depth. Try mixing the purple with one or two shades that are a little darker. I think a little more mascara will do just fine too.”

“I tried makeup on for the first time, but obviously, it didn’t look like much. Any male makeup tips? Is there anything I should do differently?”

Answer: “It’s great! The application turned out amazing, it really looks natural. I might suggest adding a very light bronzer powder or maybe even a blush. Just to give your skin some life/color.”

“Any color tips or how to apply lipstick correctly?”

Answer: “I think this color really matches your skin tone. If you want to play around with the shape of your lips a bit, I suggest a matching lip liner.”

“Totally newbie, any advice?”

“What colors suit my skin tone? Help me please”

Answer: “Try to use cool tones. It’s like that with me too. I’m a lot paler than you, but my favorites are the pale pink or pale peach blushes and, for the eyes, a rise gold effect with layers of pale pink and pale beige.”

“Any tips to improve this? I don’t usually wear eye shadow and I’m super proud of this look.”

Answer: “Sounds good to me! In my opinion, a strong look needs a strong brow to complete it. Shape and fill in your brows, put on mascara, and voila.”

“What am I doing wrong here? I feel that the foundation has a very thick and wet effect. Any suggestion?”

Answer: “I like it to be honest! This is exactly how makeup looks on unretouched skin. If you are really bothered by the wet look, I suggest using setting powder at the end of your routine, and spraying afterwards if you feel the need.”

“How to blend the contour/get the right shade? I think it turned too yellow…”

Answer: “I definitely think it’s too yellow. It could just be lighting, but if not, I think a pale skin contour would suit better. Start with minimal powder on a fluffy brush and blend slowly while moving the brush in a circular motion until desired depth is achieved.”

“I have crooked lips, drooping eyelids and a very square face. I don’t know what I’m doing and would love any tips and tricks”

“I turned 38 a few weeks ago and got back into makeup. I gradually increased the amount of makeup in order to get used to it again and not scare my co-workers. Am I doing this the right way?”

Response: “Wow, you are so beautiful. I just suggest trying to be less heavy when filling in your brows. However, I really love this lipstick color.”

“I finally found a lipstick color I like. I also tried bronzer for the first time. I bet on a casual look for everyday life. Any criticism is welcome”

Answer: “A little bit of light brown eyeshadow along the lash line would really enhance your lovely eyes and keep that casual style you’re going for. The lipstick turned out really nice.”

“I posted the first photo about a week ago. But the other photo is my second attempt and I must say I am very happy with myself.”

Answer: “What an amazing bone structure. While you’re still learning your style, you can try playing with masking tape (or even a credit card) to end up with an even thinner eyeliner line.”

“First time using glitter. Constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated.”

Answer: “I like the color, it’s neutral but glam. I would like to see the entire eyelid done in glitter or move the glitter a bit so it is more centered over your pupil. Try to pull it a little to the right on the right eyelid and a little to the left on the left eyelid. That makes sense? The person who did my makeup as Mother of the Bride put loose glitter all over my eyelid. It turned out amazing! Then she even added false eyelashes. My eyelids are similar to hers and my eyes are also big and pretty much the same shape.”

“How can I improve my everyday look?”

Answer: “As regards your skin, let it be as it is. Is beautiful. All I would say is: use sunscreen. Your day look is great, but if you want to elevate it, maybe you could highlight the inner corner of your eye and a lipstick in your natural lip color, but a little darker.”

“Wonder if anyone else has the same problem as me with huge round eyelids? I find it very difficult to put on makeup, because my concave is very deep”

Answer: “I think the shades of green used are very beautiful and I like the way you blended them. My advice would be to smooth out the color transition a bit more. I would also recommend more subtlety on the inside of the eyes (across the nose, under the brow bone). This part usually requires more lightness, otherwise it can make the eyes look a little sunken.”

“This is my first color test. I know it’s not amazing, but any tips for a newbie would be super awesome.”

Answer: “My advice would be to use eyeliner. I think my look is never complete without eyeliner. Not sure what products you used or if you had a primer. It looks really well blended, but too monochromatic for me. Just a shade lighter on the inner lid and a shade darker on the other lid would make a big difference I think. And my tip for any shade is to slowly build up the color, which means starting with lighter shades and going deeper or darker or brighter by layering. I hope it helps.”
