All of this puts the viewer in a trance-like state, prompting them to question where the virtual world is taking people.

The protagonist gets financing from a large company, but has difficulties to finish the project. Interactive film lets the audience decide where the story will go. In the beginning, the choices are more banal: what music will the character listen to or what will he eat for breakfast. Afterwards, however, the choices become more serious and decisive in the hero’s destiny.

Asger Holm works as an attendant in an emergency service. One day he receives a call from a woman, who has been kidnapped and is being taken somewhere by car. Without leaving the workplace, the protagonist tries to save her. When the connection is broken, the attendant wastes no time and starts looking for the victim and the aggressor, as the chances of a successful outcome are decreasing more and more. Later, however, Asger begins to realize that this is no ordinary kidnapping.

Ren invents a revolutionary new drug called “OutraVida”, capable of creating a virtual reality in the human brain. The medicine’s effects expand the perception of time — a fraction of a second is perceived as hours or even days. The government sees this as a solution to overcrowded prisons: criminals will be able to serve their long sentences in just a few minutes. But soon Ren herself is trapped by time and her mind.
