When I was a kid, I had a black cat named Bucks. One day during the summer we traveled to our country house. And there, Bucks, quickly got used to a local cat, which was big, ginger and had a torn ear. It was called Red.
At some point, my cat decided to show Red the most valuable thing he had—his favorite toy. It was an old stuffed mouse. He was still a kitten so he was used to carrying his favorite toy everywhere. Except when we were at the country house, there he always left him indoors. But this time he took his little mouse and brought it into the garden. He threw the toy under Red’s nose, and started showing him his stuffed friend. Red watched the scene, turned around and left.
Bucks was confused, looking straight at Red and the toy. And then he apparently decided to run after Red. The mouse ended up being thrown into the garden. Although we later brought him home, Bucks never played with him again. © Vangui / pikabu
