15+ Great (and beautiful) Brazilian TV heartthrobs in their youth and current phase

Maybe you’re not old enough to remember some of the biggest heartthrobs on Brazilian television in their youth. But, look at this whole post with your grandmother or aunt who is over 50 years old and you will have fun with the sighs and little cries of happiness they will give.

Tarcísio Meira, Francisco Cuoco, Reginaldo Faria, Antônio Fagundes were some of the great actors who defined the image and style of the heartthrob in soap operas, lavishing talent and working in various productions. They paved the way and continue to work alongside the younger generations.

1. Tarcísio Meira

If there’s an actor who defines the term heartthrob, it’s Tarcício Meira (83). Its history is intertwined with that of Brazilian television. He debuted in the early 1960s in the teletheater, a type of production at the time that brought large theatrical texts to the small screen. With Gloria Menezeshis companion since 1962, starred in the first daily telenovela, 2-5499 Busyin 1963.

3. Antonio Fagundes

Antonio Fagundes (70) is a rare case of an actor who has achieved absolute success in television and theater. He starred in several productions that won audiences on the small screens and continues to fill concert halls across Brazil with his plays.

4. Reginaldo Faria

Reginaldo Faria (82) is another heartthrob who has and is making history. He was the protagonist of TV Globo’s first teledramaturgy production, the telenovela lost illusionsfrom 1965. The biggest success, however, came later, when Reginaldo starred in the film Lúcio Flávio, The Passenger of Agony (1977). Since then, she has merged one role into the other on television.

5. Tony Ramos

Tony Ramos (71) is one of the most charismatic and beloved actors on television, having played the most varied types of characters in his long career. He has been a good guy, villain, father of a family, rebel, conservative, Greek, Italian, Indian… And he remains one of the most sought after stars among soap opera authors. Everyone wants Tony on their cast!

6. Edson Celulari

Edson Celulari (61) broke out on television in the early 1980s and was another actor who didn’t stop getting good roles in soap operas and series. The country barely loses its talent, as Edson studied to be an Electronics Technician. But he fell in love with acting and studied at the School of Dramatic Arts at the University of São Paulo.

7. Carlos Alberto Riccelli

Fabio Jr. (65) emerged in small roles in the 1970s, until he gained prominence as a heartthrob and protagonist of some soap operas. His passion, however, has always been music and, in this regard, he has never let his fans see ships: he continues to play shows around the country with the breath of a boy.

11. Nuno Leal Maia

Nuno Leal Maia (71) was born in Santos, a beach town in the state of São Paulo, and was a soccer player before becoming an actor. He played very varied characters, but he was marked by the “good guy” type, often linked to sports. 12. Fulvio Stefanini

Fulvio Stefanini (79) debuted in the early days of Brazilian television, in 1955, participating in the productions of Vanguard TV, from the extinct Rede Tupi. He continues acting and is successful in the theater with the monologue The father.

13. Paulo Betti

Since 1980, when he debuted on television, until today, the career of Paulo Betti (66 years old) has always been hectic, with one character after another, as well as projects for the cinema and the theater, as an actor and director. The theater, by the way, has already won him several awards.
