Star Trek: The Next Generation is a series with many fans and it was one of them who noticed that the floors in the access tunnels, or “Jefferies Tube”, are grease-resistant rubber mats used in restaurant kitchens.

Yet another from The Book of Boba Fett, the futuristic tool used by the character was unmasked as just a flashlight.

9. A computer in Venkman’s office in Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters was very successful in the 1980s, when computers were still very large and unknown to the general public. Maybe that’s why the production decided to use medical equipment to perform exams as a prop to compose the scenario.

10. A droid in The Book of Boba Fett

11. The helmet of the Emperor’s emissary on Dune

As much as Dune is a great Hollywood production, the team also has its tricks to compose the look of the film. For example, the Emperor’s emissary’s helmet is made from—nothing more, nothing less—a washing machine drain hose and its hook.
