14 Famous Brazilians who studied in the same place but we had no idea

It is common to hear stories of artists who tried other professions before following the path of art. And, in this search for a profession, several celebrities attended the same high schools and colleges. Some around the same time; others at different times. And many, over time, ended up meeting again on stage and screen.

Thinking about the coincidences of life, the awesome.club went to research famous Brazilians who studied in the same place. And we’ve prepared a list of 14 examples where paths can cross when we least expect it!

The two are longtime friends! They studied together when they were 12 years old at a school in Rio de Janeiro. Marcelo Adnet already confessed that Mateus Solano was one of the great incentives for him to pursue an acting career.

The two friends have known each other since they were children. They studied together at Colégio Rio de Janeiro, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Christiane Torloni and Lúcia Veríssimo also worked together in some productions, such as the telenovela Cara ou Coroa and Araponga, always on Rede Globo.

Despite never having worked together, the model and the journalist became celebrities. Felipe Andreoli studied at Dante Alighieri during basic education. Just like Isabella who studied at the same school from 6 to 17 years old.

Another duo who also studied at Colégio Dante Alighieri was the acting duo Marco Pigossi and Eriberto Leão. Marco studied there between 1994 and 2006. Eriberto Leão was also a student at the traditional school, as the family wanted to maintain the Italian tradition.

The trio of comedians graduated together at CAL, the well-known Casa de Arte das Laranjeiras, in Rio de Janeiro. The photo above shows the three in a rehearsal during the course. They shared scenes and stages several times.

Denise Fraga and Arlindo Cruz were two of the many notable names that passed through Colégio Pedro II, in Rio de Janeiro. They didn’t study together, but they became professionals recognized by the general public years later and help to increase the school’s fame!

The duo of actresses began to shine on TV screens early on, in soap operas and other productions on Rede Globo. But, even before they acted together, as happened in Deus Salve o Rei, the two studied together — they shared the same school, the same room and even the same crush!

The three friends (when they were still child actresses) spent some time living in Buenos Aires, during the recording of the telenovela Chiquititas. There, they studied at Colégio Naciones Unidas and still keep memories of that moment until today.

Despite not having completed the course, Lexa and Sabrina were students at UFRJ. The funk artist was a freshman in Civil Engineering, but dropped out early on. Sabrina studied until the third year in the Dance course.

The two beauties studied at PUC — Rio. Fernanda Gentil graduated in Journalism, a profession in which she continues to work until today. Alice Wegmann, on the other hand, opted for the course, but it was in the Performing Arts that she consolidated her career.

Two poets who honed their skills with words in classrooms at the same institution. The two went through PUC, in Rio de Janeiro. Pedro Bial has a degree in Journalism from the University and Gabriel, o Pensador, completed a course in Social Communication.

Few people know, but both Luciano Huck and Maria Fernanda Cândido are former students of the largest university in the country, USP. However, neither pursued a career in the trade he chose as his first choice. He did Law and she, Occupational Therapy.

The acting duo studied at Mackenzie, but in different courses. Ricardo Tozzi has a degree in Business Administration and Tania studied Psychology. After college, both opted for a career in the artistic world and even worked together in the theater, in the production Jogo Aberto.

Singers of indisputable talent, Iza and Paula Toller probably released their voices in the corridors of PUC, in Rio. Paula started doing Industrial Design and Visual Communication, but left the course to dedicate herself to music. Iza graduated in and confesses that what she learned in college helps her current profession.
