Foreignness is a process by which words coming from another language are inserted in our language. It is possible to see that the use of some of these expressions is increasingly present in our daily lives, especially in the language of social networks.

Have you ever been a victim of “fake news”, have you ever received a “spoiler” or been invited to a “date”? Don’t worry if these words sound strange in any way. It’s normal that we don’t grasp the meaning of so many new words quickly, even more so if we take into account that our language, by itself, is already very complex. It is even so rich that many of these terms can be equivalent to others that have been around for a long time — in the Tupiniquim version, of course.
