After a customer leaves a restaurant or bar, waiters need to clear the table as quickly as possible. It is not uncommon to see a large group of people arrive without a reservation. In such situations, you may need to move other tables to accommodate customers. But remember: there is no guarantee that your group will be comfortably accommodated if you have not made a reservation, as the chairs may not be enough. It may also happen that the group has to be divided by the restaurant space.

In some countries, there is a habit of not splitting the bill separately when you are in large groups, especially in Europe. Therefore, when there is no advance notice that the bill needs to be calculated separately, waiters have to make an effort afterwards to divide the expenses correctly. They won’t say it’s not possible, but it’s usually good manners. ask the waiter in advance to split the bills separately. This makes life easier for everyone, including the customers themselves.

When you order something that is not on the menu, the attendant will do everything they can to try to resolve the situation. For example, if the establishment has the ingredients that go into the dish you would like, the waiter can calculate the values ​​separately by ingredient.

Problems start when certain customers order dishes that contain ingredients that are simply not available at the restaurant. Many insist and complain about the lack of such ingredients, and the waiter has no responsibility for creating the menu.

Some employees may be uncomfortable with professionals who come to the establishment only for the purpose of work.
