But sometimes, during the recording process, such fantastic improvisations happen that they end up replacing or enriching the plot that was originally planned in the script🇧🇷

Emma Watson — Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

The director of the first film in the franchise Harry Potter I wanted to show in the scene how Hermione’s real reaction would be when the girl saw a real celebrity up close for the first time in her life – the Boy Who Lived. So Chris Columbus asked Emma Watson to simply say the first thing that popped into her head when she realized that Harry Potter himself was standing in front of her. And that’s exactly what the actress did, opening her mouth in surprise and then saying: “Wow! Are you… Are you Harry Potter?!” The line wasn’t in the script, but it sounded so sincere that the scene ended up in the final version of the film.

Emilia Clarke — game of Thrones

In one of the episodes of the 5th season of the series, Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys Targaryen, created her entire monologue in Valyrian by herself. Production director Jeremy Podeswa said in an interview that he went up to Emilia and said, “I know this is a pretty tough request, but do you think you could say all of this in Valyrian?” Then, according to Jeremy himself, Emilia came back ten minutes later and delivered the entire monologue we saw on the small screens.

Kristofer Hivju — game of Thrones

still not popular game of Thrones, there is a scene in which the regiment leaves Castle Black. At that moment, wild Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) looks at Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) and then smiles at her. That, however, was not in the script.

Meryl Streep — The devil Wears Prada

At the end of the movie The devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly is talking to Andy in the car about how the fashion industry works. Initially, the phrase “Everybody wants to be me” was written in Meryl Streep’s text, however, the actress changed the line to “Everybody wants to be like us”, adding a touch of drama to the scene and emphasizing that Miranda Priestly finally had recognized Andy in his closest circle.

Timothée Chalamet — Call Me By Your Name

The very emotional moment at the end of the film, in which Elio Perlman is sitting by the fireplace crying and then looking directly into the camera lens, was an improvisation by Timothée Chalamet himself. The actor decided to use the expression in his eyes as a kind of tribute and farewell to his adolescence.

Tom Hanks — Mess@gem For You

in romantic comedy Mess@gem For You, the protagonist Joe Fox enters a bookstore holding balloons, lots of purchases and a small bag with a goldfish in his hands. A while later, in the scene where he is leaving the store, the character ends up trapping the balloons on the door when he closes it, then saying: “I’m glad it wasn’t the fish”. Both the scene and the actor’s reaction were not planned in the script.

Jim Carrey – The Grinch

To repeat the famous trick of removing the tablecloth with a single pull, without dropping anything on it, you need to practice for a long time and be careful. Unless you’re Jim Carrey, of course. According to the original script, the Grinch was supposed to pull the tablecloth and knock everything over, but by chance the actor ended up performing this trick perfectly, then coming back to knock all the objects with his hand. In the end, the unplanned scene turned out to be much more interesting and funnier than the one described in the script🇧🇷

Camilla Luddington — Grey’s Anatomy

After the airing of one of the episodes of the 14th season of the series Grey’s Anatomyactress Camilla Luddington said that the scene where her character, Dr. Jo Wilson kisses Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) right after kissing her fiance was completely improvised.

Jason Segel — How I Met Your Mother

On the American sitcom How I Met Your Mother, there is a scene in which Lily informs Marshall of his father’s death. Jason Segel himself decided not to read the script before the recording, so that his whole reaction at the time was completely true and natural.

Millie Bobby Brown — Stranger Things

In the fourth episode of the 3rd season of Stranger Things, the character Eleven (Eleven), played by Millie Bobby Brown, ends one of the scenes with a very dramatic and powerful performance, then falling exhausted into Mike’s arms. This, in fact, was a true reaction of the young actress’s body, who had been working practically non-stop for several days and, at the end of the shooting of this scene, ended up collapsing completely exhausted.
