10 famous couples from soap operas who still meet again, years later, as good friends

The actors’ routine is usually full of commitments, new projects and studies. With each work they dive into, it is common for them to also enter new circles of friendships, according to the production nucleus in which they are at the moment. So, when former couples, couples or fictional partners meet again, many make a point of celebrating their friendship — and recording the meeting.

Good for the public, which manages to lessen the longing for those couples who are still alive in our hearts. O awesome.club went looking for these reunions and got a collection of photos with actors and characters that we loved and would love to see together again.

In the first version of the soap opera Pantanal, which aired in the 1990s, the couple Guta and Marcelo drew sighs from the audience. Played by Luciene Adami and Tarcísio Filho, the pair of actors had a perfect harmony on the scene. And the coolest thing is that they continued to respect and admire each other over the years.

Recently, the actress posted a publication posing with her friend, in a recreation of a photo from the time of the soap opera. In the post, Luciene celebrates the more than 30 years of friendship between them.

The telenovela Laços de Família moved many people — and left others unhappy — with the love story between Helena and Edu, lived by Vera Fischer and the then young heartthrob, Reynaldo Gianecchini. Who has never wondered what the plot would have been if the couple had continued with the romance?

You can believe that not even the protagonists stopped thinking about this possibility. Proof of this is the fact that, more than two decades after the success of the soap opera, actor Reynaldo Gianecchini took advantage of a meeting with Vera Fischer backstage at Globo to ask the question: “How would Edu and Helena be now?”

Sweet and full of harmony on the small screen, Shirlei and Felipe from the soap opera Haja Coração won the hearts and fans of the public throughout the plot, even before they were a couple. Such empathy can be explained by the complicity of Sabrina Petraglia and Marcos Pitombo.

The duo of actors maintain a strong friendship to this day and always remember, with affection, the success of the couple in fiction. And it doesn’t stop there: they even gave life to another couple that hit the soap opera Salve-se Quem Puder, Micaela and Bruno. Did you also ship the duo?

Júlia Falcão and Nikos, played by Gloria Pires and Tony Ramos, formed a couple full of comings and goings in the telenovela Belíssima. Despite not having the support of a large part of the family, the public was rooting for them – much for the harmony of the duo in front of the screens – and for the delicacy of this love, which remained until the end of the plot.

In real life, the actors maintain a strong friendship, based on admiration and respect. Over the years, they starred in other successful couples, such as Lucia and Antenor, in Paraíso Tropical and the amusing Cláudio and Helena in the two editions of the film Se Eu Fosse Você.

Entre Tapas e Beijos could have been the theme song of this couple in the soap opera Segundo Sol. Rosa and Ícaro, played by actors Letícia Colin and Chay Suede, spent almost the entire plot between fights and reconciliations. And, here on the other side, we kept rooting for them, didn’t we? So much so that the end of the novel, with the two separated, was much criticized at the time.

Outside of fiction, the pair of actors live a classic friendship, one of those in which you can even forget the anniversary date without shaking the affection! And when they meet backstage at a show, they give us a little more of that energy.

Almost 50 years ago, the couple Lucinha and Carlão starred in a passionate love in the first version of the soap opera Pecado Capital. Actors Francisco Cuoco and Betty Faria were responsible for the success of this novel in Janete Clair’s plot.

After several other roles over the years, the duo currently had an exciting reunion to remember, precisely, the success of this story. It was on a special program by Rede Globo in celebration of 70 years of soap opera production in Brazil.

It was not just the constant travels between Brazil and India that were successful in the plot of Caminho das Índias. The love between Maya and Raj also attracted audiences throughout the novel. This was the first meeting of actors Juliana Paes and Rodrigo Lombardi as a romantic couple. And the chemistry worked so well that the formula was repeated in other works.

The duo also gave life to the intense couple Bibi and Caio, in A Força do Querer, a novel by the same author of Caminho das Índias, Gloria Perez. Recently, they met again in Globo’s special on Brazilian teledramaturgy, reinforcing how love stories can be the guiding thread of great works of fiction.

Look at our heartthrob on the list again! Reynaldo Gianecchini starred, alongside Cláudia Raia, in a fun, passionate and, at the same time, innocent novel. Safira and Pascoal, from the telenovela Belíssima, were loved by the public, who hoped that the pretty girl would lose her fear of assuming her love for the mechanic.

Almost 20 years after the plot, the actors still don’t get tired of distributing mutual praise. Recently, Gianecchini made a publication with the actress, in which he named her as one of his “life partners”. Cute, isn’t it?

They weren’t exactly a romantic couple in the soap opera Chocolate com Pimenta, but Mariana Ximenes and Ary Fontoura gave a show of kindness and complicity in front of the screens. In the plot, the millionaire Ludovico marries his best friend, Ana Francisca, to support her, after being left pregnant by Danilo, played by actor Murilo Benício.

The friendship between Mariana and Ary remains strong and, whenever they meet, the duo infects everyone with their high spirits, as, recently, when the two published a video on social networks dancing to the theme song of the soap opera that marked the time.

Okay, they weren’t even old enough to be a real couple, but there was no way we could be indifferent to Cirilo’s love for Maria Joaquina, in Carrossel. In the Brazilian version of the telenovela, the two were played by child actors Larissa Manoela and Jean Paulo Campos.

A decade has gone by and the two continue to walk the path of success and lend their talent to other characters. And, off screen, our “Maria Joaquina” is just affection when she meets her friend, as we can see in some clicks published on the actress’s social networks.
