10 Brazilian romantic couples that worked out so well that they were repeated on small screens (New selection)

Who never fell in love with a couple on television and sat in front of the small screen every day rooting for the much-famous “happily ever after”? It is true that some actors have so much chemistry that we fall in love with them the first moment they appear on screen. Therefore, when the same couple appears again as a romantic couple, we are sure that they will exude synchrony and, once again, make us root for them.

With that in mind, we awesome.club, we have selected 10 couples with so much chemistry on the scene that have been repeated in other plots and we invite you to remember the magic between them with this new selection. Check out!

Marina Moschen made her debut as a protagonist in Malhação — Seu Lugar no Mundo, alongside Nicolas Prattes. The actors lived Luciana and Rodrigo, the protagonist couple of the plot. During that season, the pair gathered many fans, making the return of the actors in the soap opera Rock Story very acclaimed, as the chemistry between the two was clear. When the names of Marina and Nicolas were announced for the 19:00 telenovela, a legion of fans made a joint effort to call Globo’s Telespectator Service Center (CAT), asking that both return to being a romantic couple.

Fernanda Vasconcellos and Jayme Matarazzo have acted together a few times, as in 2014, in the film Didi e o Segredo dos Anjos and, in the same year, they shared the set again, this time as the couple Malu and Maurício in the soap opera Sangue Bom. Shortly thereafter, in 2016, the actors were a couple again, in Haja Coração. For Fernanda Vasconcellos, the partnership only favors the couple’s rapport: “I really like working with Jayminho. He’s a super available actor, smart, studious and, other than that, he’s a friend. Which makes a big difference.”

Maria Casadevall and Caio Castro have a palpable harmony when they are on stage together. The actress made her debut in soap operas in the production Amor à Vida, with Caio as a romantic couple. In the following year, 2014, the actors returned to play in the GNT series Lili, a Ex. In 2015, the acting duo once again showed chemistry on the scene, in the soap opera I Love Paraisópolis.

Sophie Charlotte and Daniel de Oliveira have a lot of chemistry on the scene, which is perhaps due to the fact that the duo is a couple in real life. The two started dating during the recording of O Rebu and today they have a son together, little Otto. Three years later, in 2017, the duo returned to act as the couple Alice and Vitor, in Os Dias Eram Assim.

Taís Araújo and Lázaro Ramos is another pair that exudes chemistry both on and off stage. They have been together for 17 years. In Cobras & Lagartos, from 2006, the couple were already dating and stole the show as Foguinho and Ellen. Eight years later, they returned to the small screen, this time in Geração Brasil. Another work done with mastery by the couple was the production Mister Brau, acclaimed by the public.

Rayssa Bratillieri made her television debut in Malhação: Vidas Brasileiras, and her romantic partner was André Luiz Frambach, with whom she returned to act shortly thereafter, in the period soap opera Éramos Seis. The couple’s chemistry was so great that they even engaged in a non-fiction romance.

Juliana Paes and Marcos Palmeira had already worked together, but the first time they acted as a couple was in the series As Brasileiras. Years later, the actors met again as a romantic couple, this time on prime-time television, in the soap opera A Dona do Pedaço. For Juliana, the fact that they already knew each other made it easier to work on the second soap opera: “When you already have empathy with your scene partner, you’ve worked with him before, everything becomes easier”.

Betty Faria and Francisco Cuoco worked together on the first version of Pecado Capital, in 1975, and soon afterwards they amended another soap opera as a romantic couple, in Duas Vidas. Some time later, the actors met again on stage, in Boogie Oogie, from 2014. The story took place in the 70s, that is, in the same period in which they acted together for the first time.

Anjo Mau was the first telenovela that Susana Vieira and José Wilker acted together as a couple, in 1976. Since then, the actors have made many romantic partners, as in A Próxima Vítima, Duas Caras and Senhora do Destino, in which he gave life to the sambista Giovanni Improtta and she, to the protagonist Maria do Carmo.

Glória Menezes and Tarcísio Meira formed a beautiful pair off-screen and on-screen as well. The actors worked together in several soap operas, including as a couple. The first time together on television was in the country’s first daily serial, 2-5499 Ocupado, in 1963. After that, the two put together a long list of performances, such as in Irmãos Coragem, Sangue e Areia and A Favorita.
