Now that you know the main brands of deodorants on the market, understand if it is really necessary to use the product without aluminum.
Why use aluminum-free deodorant?
The dermatologist explained that in “a few years there was speculation about the relationship of aluminum present in deodorant with breast cancer, mainly, and cancers close to the armpit. All the studies that followed this speculation proved that there is no relationship between aluminum in deodorant and cancer. The aluminum present in deodorants is extremely low. So we don’t have to worry about that.”
Maria Cláudia pointed out that other studies still need to be done to know how much aluminum can act as a hormonal imbalance. Despite this, there are several products on the market without the substance that are very good deodorants. What happens is that aluminum has the function of reducing sweat, which does not occur in deodorants without the aluminum substance. In other deodorants, there is a reduction in odor, but not necessarily a reduction in sweating.
