You only need 5 minutes to get rid of lower back pain

There are many reasons that can trigger lower back pain. Sometimes, the discomfort indicates the presence of serious health disorders, while in other cases the pain can be the result of a sudden movement or exaggeration in physical training. If you carry something heavy or stay in an uncomfortable position for a long time, pain can also appear. And if, all of a sudden, an unbearable pain shoots through your body, concentrating on your lower back and ending in your leg, then know that the best way to get better is by practicing correct physical activity.

The purpose of the practice is to eliminate the spasm of the piriformis muscle, which compresses the sciatic nerve. You need to perform the exercises at a slow pace, without exaggerating the effort. If the pain increases, as we have already said, see a doctor. The time to maintain each posture is 30 seconds.

Sit on a chair with your back straight and legs bent at the knees, forming a right angle. Place the leg affected by the pain on top of the other so that it is parallel to the floor. Brace yourself with the sore calf and slowly lean forward as far as you can. Lower your arms and hold the position for 30 seconds. Then, return to the starting position, switch legs and repeat the exercise.

Continue lying on the floor on your back, with your legs extended. Place the painful leg on top of the other so that the sole of the foot is next to the knee. Place the opposite hand over the top of the joint and, with light effort, move it forward. When you feel tension in the muscle, hold the position for 30 seconds. Change legs and repeat the exercise.

Lie on the floor on your back with your legs extended. Cross them so that the painful leg is on top. Hug them and try to bring the knee of the painful leg closer to the shoulder on the same side. And you already know what to do next: when you feel muscle tension, stay in the position for 30 seconds. Relax and repeat with the other leg.
