When nothing is certain, everything is possible

Now is the gift. The possibility to do and undo, to launch yourself into the mysterious, towards the new, to expand your refuge. Now is when you can experiment, now is when you can realize that everything you do not control can surprise you, because when nothing is certain, everything is possible, shall we take the plunge?

Could it be a question of age? They make us think that experimenting is something for young people, trying, that when you get older you enter into routines and obligations and it is increasingly difficult. But, did you know? You will never be younger than you are today, you will never go back to the day or the second or the situation you are in now, So treat yourself, get out of your safe zone and enjoy how your abilities stretch.

What can happen if it goes wrong? It may go wrong, the possibility exists, but at least the doubt will not haunt you. Do not carry the burden of “what if…”, do not limit your world to those areas where probability does not exist. If you do, you will be denying yourself the opportunity to grow.

Don’t let it be too late and you have to regret it, Now is the time, now is the day to step out of the safe and explore the possible, to open your mind to new experiences, to try what you wanted so much and still want to do. Today is that day, what are you waiting for?

The magic of the unexpected, the faith that anything is possible

There is nothing more magical than a kiss that you don’t expect, than words that surprise you, than a gesture that catches you off guard. A first day of opening, a first day at your job or at school, the first time you saw someone special. One of the reasons we look back on childhood with nostalgia is because it was the time of first times, because then we woke up with the idea that everything is possible.

Why not continue writing new principles? Why have we anesthetized our curiosity? Can we really lose so much if we go a little further? Why don’t we try changing the routine? Maybe we have thought about it, thought about leaving it for later, for when… the children leave home, we become permanent at work, we retire. But who guarantees us this time? The awareness of finitude, rather than scaring us, sounds in this sense like an alarm clock.

Life or not, after… is unknown. What is certain, in return, is that now our heart beats.

“I realize that if I were stable, static and prudent, I would live in death. Therefore, I accept uncertainty, confusion, fear and emotional ups and downs, because that is the price I am willing to pay for a fluid, perplexing and exciting life.

-Carl Rogers-

Time gives no respite

We continue living for later, filling suitcases for the “just in case”, distrusting ourselves to deal with future difficulties or imagining improbable catastrophes. It’s time to stop going through the days on autopilot, with rushing at the back of your neck.

The magic of launching ourselves into the unknown is preceded by the now, by seeing what is in front of us and launching ourselves, overcoming our fears and our routines.making leisure and fun, unexpected and surprising plans part of our daily lives, of our lives.
