After Pythagorean, Kabbalistic numerology is the best known. It is based on the meaning of letters and their corresponding sounds. The number table used is associated with the ancient Aramaic-derived alphabet.

Unlike other strands, Kabbalistic Numerology deals only with names or words, not involving birth dates.
