Variations of Pomba-Gira stitches

The Pomba-Gira points do not have specific authorship. They are made collectively and vary from terreiro to terreiro. They constitute an oral culture, so they are easy and to be repeated by the choir. Each point has its purpose and can honor a specific entity, but sometimes you can hear a point that was by Maria Molambo being sung to a Maria Padilha just by replacing the name, for example.
