We created a Brazilian cast for Chaves that could work just as well as the original

The series Chaves marked the childhood and adolescence of many Brazilians, who had fun with characters such as Chiquinha, Quico and Seu Madruga. The Mexican production premiered in 1984 on SBT and became one of the biggest symbols of the station — now, have you ever stopped to imagine what it would be like if the program had a Brazilian cast?

The team of awesome.club gathered names of artists who could give life to the beloved village of Chaves in Brazil. Do you agree with our indications? In the end, we leave you a challenge.

Otaviano Costa proved that he has an affinity for humorous roles when he played Ptolemy in the Professor Raimundo’s School🇧🇷 So that’s why we think he could do well in the role of Professor Girafales – the eternal lover of Dona Florinda.

Remember the actress Gorete Milagres, who gives life to the character Filomena? It would be amazing to see the actress playing Dona Clotilde, also known as the Witch of 71. With so much talent, we think the comedian would take the role of letter.

We think that the Brazilian Chiquinha would be very well represented by Tatá Werneck. Two reasons for the choice: the first is that the presenter knows how to entertain like no one else and has no problem making “grimaces” for the sake of humor — which is perfect for the character. And the other is that Tatá has even dressed up as the character and helped us visualize this dream.

Sweet and sweet, Paty charmed the village boys. The choice was made mainly because of the physical similarity, but it would be interesting to see Agatha Moreira being part of a humorous program. As she is considered a great actress, we thought she could help the character shine!

We think that Quico would be very well represented by Marcelo Adnet, as the artist is a beast of humor and it would be funny to see him make the faces of Dona Florinda’s spoiled son. What do you think?
