I just received an email from someone asking me what to give for Valentine’s Day and I remembered something much more important, which is what NOT to give.
If you’re with the person and you’re thinking of buying them something to celebrate Valentine’s Day, don’t even think about giving sharp objects, objects that have ends, socks, handkerchiefs, ties and images of saints (like little medals of saints to use on chains ,etc). That goes for men too!
If you’ve already bought any of these things or really want to give something like that, play a game with your lover, tell him that you don’t give the object, but “sell”, then hand over the gift and ask for a coin of symbolic value in exchange, like if that was really a purchase.
I’ve known this since I was a child, the women in the family have always said this and, from what I’ve seen, it really seems to work! Even if the separation does not occur, the relationship is never the same, it turns into hell, with fights and discussions.
Afterwards, I’ll post gift ideas here (blesseds, prayers, etc…rssss)
What I didn’t know but just found: Never gift perfumes at the beginning of a relationship or at the end of it.
