Rodrigo Faro started working on TV at a very young age, at the age of nine, making commercials to help pay for his household expenses. At that time, he joined the group Ultraleve, which among other members included Angélica and Ticiane Pinheiro. Then, at age 14, he was part of the ZYB Bom program, from 1987 to 1989. Later, at age 19, Rodrigo joined the Dominó group, which was a great success in Brazil and abroad.

From 1996, he began to dedicate himself to acting, debuting in the soap opera Antônio Alves, Taxista, from SBT, but soon transferred to TV Globo, where he participated in several plots until 2008. It was in that year that he received an invitation from TV Record to present the program Ídolos and ended up replacing Márcio Garcia in the presentation of O Melhor do Brasil, in which he remained until 2014, when he debuted his own attraction, A Hora do Faro, becoming one of the biggest presenters on national television.

Vera Viel began her modeling career at the age of 17, when she won the Girl Summer Alive contest, in 1993. After that, she began to appear in several photo shoots in magazines and fashion shows of major brands. Thus, she traveled the world, working as a model in Switzerland, South Africa, Japan and several countries in Latin America. Her international career ended in 2005, when she became a mother for the first time, and had another daughter soon after.

She returned to the spotlight in 2010 when she served as a reporter for the Amaury Jr. The following year, she debuted in the presentation of the program Zapping, on TV Record News, remaining until 2021. Vera gave birth for the last time in 2012 and today is dedicated to raising her three daughters, Clara, Maria and Helena, with her eternal boyfriend , Rodrigo Faro.

The first time the couple met was during the recording of a commercial for a well-known brand of flip-flops, in 1997. Vera says that she arrived early to meet with the crew and waited in the van that would take them to the filming location. She says she recognized him from a soap opera and he identified her from a brand’s campaigns, and they soon started talking: “It felt like we already knew each other!”, she reveals.

Then they sat down together for lunch and at the end of the day the first kiss happened. It was at that moment that Rodrigo told her: “You will laugh at what I am going to tell you, but you will be the mother of my children”. According to Vera, she fell in love right there and they haven’t parted since.

At the beginning of the relationship, Rodrigo made many soap operas and, as a heartthrob, kissed several actresses on stage, which generated a certain insecurity in Vera. However, he insisted on keeping her calm and helped to reduce jealousy. Another situation that proved the union of the two was during her first pregnancy. Vera had a risky pregnancy and ended up losing her son in the second month. Of course, this made them both very sad, but with lots of love, they overcame this ordeal.

After recovering from this adversity, they decided to try again and Vera gave birth to Clara, then Maria and, finally, Helena. They say that the arrival of the girls only added to the relationship and increased the love. According to them, “our best roles are that of father and mother”. Rodrigo reveals that being surrounded by women is “the best thing in the world” and says he is “their servant”, but also a king, as they all take care of him.

Even after 25 years of union, the couple remains in a dating mood and melts in reciprocal praise, making statements for all to see. One example was when Rodrigo appeared on Vera’s birthday singing Como é Grande o Meu Amor por Você. For him, the coolest thing is that they still love each other very much and are ready to stay together until the end.
