Furthermore, and in line with the supermarket chain's commitment to sustainability, the latest version of the star Christmas gift incorporates an innovative recycling system with 15 cards. Wooden toys continue to be one of the chain's most successful categories, with more than 160 sustainable wooden items, representing more than 30% of its total toy offering. According to ALDI's Report on Buying Toys in Spain 2022, for Spanish parents the most important aspects when buying toys are the recommended age of the toy and that it fits within the planned budget. This is highlighted by more than 90% of them, followed by another 90% who pay special attention to the fact that it is a product that their sons and daughters have ordered. Furthermore, 7 out of 10 Spanish families pay attention to the origin or sustainability seals, aspects that help them choose and make a responsible purchase.
