1. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; blot out my transgressions, according to the multitude of your mercies.
2. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
4. Against you, you alone, have I sinned, and done evil in your sight, that you may be justified when you speak, and pure when you judge.
5. Behold, I was formed in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.
6. Behold, you love truth in the innermost part, and in secret you make me know wisdom.
7. Purify me with hyssop, and I will be pure; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8. Make me hear joy and gladness, so that the bones you broke may rejoice.
9. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
10. Create in me, O God, a pure heart, and renew a right spirit within me.
11. Do not cast me out of your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
12. Give me again the joy of your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.
13. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn to you.
14. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation, and my tongue will praise your righteousness.
15. Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will sing your praise.
16. For you do not desire sacrifices, otherwise I would give them; you do not delight in burnt offerings.
17. The sacrifices to God are the broken spirit; You will not despise a broken and contrite heart, O God.
18. Do good to Zion according to your good pleasure; builds the walls of Jerusalem.
19. Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in the burnt offerings and in the burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Prayer to end laziness

“In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord my God, I enter your Holy Presence at this moment to place my life in your hands.

Lord, I reflect on this and I see that I have felt a lot of laziness, a desire to do nothing, and I know that this is not yours. I don’t want to eat the bread of laziness or remain prostrate without doing anything or wanting to do everything quickly and in the wrong way.

I believe that the Lord renews my strength and gives me the will to live and that is why I raise my voice at this moment against all evil and say: spirit of laziness that is trying to take over my life, leave now!

I don’t accept you in my body, discouragement, lack of willpower, excessive sleep get out of my life now! Laziness, I don’t accept you dominating me, I don’t accept you taking over my day and I say, leave in the name of Jesus Christ! and I determine that in my life there is renewal and enthusiasm, that I do everything as it is meant to be done, in a joyful and cheerful way in the name of Jesus.

The Lord made me to win, I am God’s work to be a winner. But I know that I have to do my part and the Lord will do his. I have to get up and face adversity, the Lord will help me along the way. I have to get up and walk, the Lord will help me on the road. This is how things will change, from this moment on: I do my part, with faith and trust, I commit myself and do my best.
I do not accept laziness, it will not be the one that will allow me to achieve the full life that God has reserved for me. Amen. Thank God.”
