Love me when I least deserve it because that will be when I need it the most. Love me and take care of me, because when I fail you, I also fail. Because when I get angry for no reason or look for a reason to do so, something inside me is not right.

Love me when I make mistakes, love me always. You may have reasons not to do it, to run away from me until the storm passes, to abandon me in the trunk of memories and start living freely.

Maybe yes, maybe he hurt you and you still feel pain. It hurts me too and I’m sorry. That part of me is also me, at least in the past I was or I am right now.

Therefore, love me when I least deserve it, because everything completes me, because I also need to fight my emotional battles out loud.

When I need your support…

I need your support when there are no stars in my nights, when I cry, when I scream, when I behave in a mean way.

Simply, when we are bad we need others. We need to be put up with, we need to be guided, to know that unconditionality exists and that, despite everything, we are worthy of love. After the storm, calm will come.

And there are times when the whole world collapses and falls on us. They say that there is no evil that lasts a hundred years, that everything is temporary and that whatever hurts us will stop.

I ask you to put yourself in my place and try to understand that, when I make a mistake, I am also having a hard time. I need you to teach me that the world is not a hostile place where attacks are carried out when you are weakest with the intention that you cannot get up.

Because, although today my mistake covers your world in blackness, I know that you will know how to forgive me, I know that you know that I am worth it (and joy) and that together we will progress better.

I am that son who gets bad grades, that girlfriend who gets angry, that husband who is a disaster, that mother who won’t let you go, that teacher who makes a mistake, that girl who broke a vase, that dog who destroyed a cushion, that worker who has forgotten to perform a task, that person who has been unfair to you…

Because, in each and every one of those situations, I need you to love me. Because I am the same person who deserves your love when everything is going well, when everything is simple and when you don’t dislike me.

My mistakes and my mistakes are typical of me, of us and of our circumstances. They correspond to a percentage of misfortunes that make us value the joys. They are lessons that, over time, become experiences.

Stay with someone who knows the worst version of you and, instead of leaving, they stay and help you improve.

When I offer you my worst version I feel sad, I collapse and I blame myself for not having known how to live up to it. I want to forgive myself, but for that I also need you.
