With my voice I cried to the Lord, and he heard me from his holy mountain. (Selah) I lay down and slept; I woke up, because the Lord sustained me. I will not fear ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me and surround me.

Arise, Lord; save me, my God; for thou hast smote all mine enemies in the jaws; you broke the teeth of the wicked. Salvation comes from the Lord; upon your people be your blessing. (Saddle.).”

Machina evil in your bed; he sets out on a path that is not good; does not hate evil. Your kindness, Lord, reaches to the heavens, and your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, your judgments are like the deep abyss. You, Lord, preserve men and animals.

How precious is your kindness, O God! The sons of men take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They shall be satisfied with the fatness of your house, and you will make them drink from the stream of your delights; for in you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your kindness to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Let not the foot of pride come upon me, and let not the hand of the wicked move me. There are fallen those who work iniquity; they are knocked down, and cannot get up.”

Even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
