WHY SHOULD WE PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DIED?

Then, divine mercy grants that soul the grace to be purified after death. At this time, the prayer of those who are on Earth is important. This process removes the attachment to small sins.

Purification is not done by fire, but by the intensification of love for God, erasing the remains of sin existing in the soul. It is performed in posthumous purgatory.

The faithful on Earth must help their deceased brothers who are in purgatory, with prayer and masses in their homage. We must ask God to strengthen the love of the souls in purgatory, to extinguish all their tendencies to evil, allowing as soon as possible to be in the vision of God face to face.

How to pray for someone who has died

Many times in our lives we are caught by surprise and we lose important people such as father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, uncles, cousins, among others, and even important friends. Many deaths are natural and we are expecting them in some way, but others are unexpected.

The important thing is to know that the loved one is well and in the arms of the Father and the Virgin Mary, in this way, prayers are essential for him or her to feel good today and always in eternal life. The important thing is to always think positive for the deceased. Greetings yes, sadness no! Be homesick for the person who left, but don’t feel sadness in any way.

Your departed loved one may think like this: “When I think of me, don’t cry and remember the good times we had together.” If you do this, you will be happier where you are. Pray with your heart and talk to God to protect this special person in your life.

There is always a time for everything in life: there is time to be born, there is time to plant and harvest, there is time to grow in life, there is time to return to the Creator. We must think that one day we will also fulfill our mission and meet our departed entities.
