Plastic surgeon uses golden ratio to find 10 of the most handsome men in the world

In Ancient Greece, people valued beauty so much that they even created a formula called the golden ratio to check how close a person’s face was to perfection. And to find out if such concepts really can be applied even today, celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva decided to apply the concept to his computer mapping techniques. With the help of a program, he calculated the percentage of beauty present in some of our favorite celebrities, and we prepared a list of the 10 most handsome among them.

We, from awesome.club, we want to explain to you a little more about the golden ratio, and share the results obtained by Dr. Julian DeSilva. Follow:

The Phi Golden Ratio of Beauty is a mathematical equation created by the Greeks to measure beauty🇧🇷 According to Dr. Silva, it consists of 3 parts.

The length and width of the face are measured, and the results are divided. The closer the result is to 1.6 (Phi number), the more perfect the face.

The following measurements are also taken into account: the one taken from the hairline on the forehead to the point between the eyes, from the point between the eyes to the bottom of the nose, and from the tip of the nose to the bottom of the chin . If all these numbers are equal, the person can be considered beautiful.

THE width of the eyes should be equal to the distance between themand the length of the ear should be equal to that of the nose.

10. Ryan Gosling — 87.48%

“He has the most perfect nose of all men, but he scores low on lips.”

9. Kanye West — 87.94%

“He stood out for the spacing between his eyes and his chin. But he scored few points when it came to face shape.”

8. Idris Elba — 88.01%

“His chin is close to perfect, and he even scored high on eye spacing. The weak point was the nose-to-lip size ratio.”

7. David Beckham — 88.96%

“He has the most chiseled chin of all the men in the top 10. Plus, he has a near-perfect nose-to-lip size ratio. The weak points are the shape of the nose and the position of the eyes.”

6. Hugh Jackman — 89.64%

“He did well on the shape of the nose, but his lips and the space between his eyes are his weak points.”

5. George Clooney — 89.91%

“He has been considered one of the most handsome men, but over the last few years, his face has lost volume, and the area around his eyes has become more ‘droopy’.”

4. Brad Pitt — 90.51%

“Its best score is for the space between the eyes, while the worst score was for the nose.”

3. Bradley Cooper — 91.08%

“The index he did best on was eye position. However, the grades were low for the shape of the nose and face.”

2. Henry Cavill — 91.64%

“He got the highest overall score for his lips and forehead, and he did well for his nose-to-lip ratio, as well as the position of his eyes. His weak point is the spacing between his eyes.”
