People who surprise by helping those in need around them

One person’s work is invisible on a world scale (of course, if you’re not Elon Musk). But everyone can help someone get closer and share their knowledge. For example, a simple hairdresser can teach children to read, and someone can mow a neighbor’s lawn, turning their help into a major charity. It’s hard to believe? These 10 people show that we can all start doing good from now on.

Don’t be afraid of the amount of people who need help. Good deeds always attract more allies who contribute to making your plans come true. Therefore, the most important thing is to start and create this chain of good.

O awesome.club wants to talk about people who didn’t want to wait for the world to become positive and beautiful, and just started doing it on their own. at the end of the posta bonus will show what a right education means.

1. Jake Austin

Jake Austin has been helping the homeless for many years and offers them the opportunity to wash and clean in a suitable place.

His old truck, renovated for $5,000, has become a mobile toilet that reads “Shower for the people.” The water is taken from fire hydrants and heated with the help of an external generator.

Inside the truck are two shower cabins, two sinks and mirrors. Jake and his assistants provide soap, razors and other toiletries, all for free.

Why did Jack come up with the idea to create a mobile shower? He believes that hygiene brings well-being, restores dignity and, with it, hopes for a happy future.

2. Rescue Ink drivers

Bikers generate fears in many people: tattooed men with a rough look and a menacing look that don’t inspire confidence… Almost no one would dare to ask for help. But that’s not true, not at all! Rescue Ink members love animals and are always ready to stand up for those who can’t fend for themselves.

These people destroy fighting and dogfighting sites, rescue animals that have been mistreated by cruel owners, and hire private detectives to collect evidence against those who mistreat the animals.

3. The “My 360 Project” project

The project My 360 Project provides shoes for children in underdeveloped countries. They produce shoes and provide work for people who have been freed from slavery, veterans or simply those who cannot find a job.

Footwear designer Mike Friton has been an industry innovator for over 30 years. Since 1998, he has patented 14 prototypes, several for Nike. Finally, in 2011, Mike decided to leave the company to start his own.

You can support the cause with 35 dollars. This amount includes a pair of shoes and the cost of labor for the workers.

4. Phil Packer

Phil Packer was injured in Iraq in 2008 when he suffered a serious spinal injury. Doctors told him he wouldn’t be able to walk anymore, but the guy decided to prove them wrong. Packer trained more than 4 hours a day and, in 2009, participated in the London Marathon, covering about 50 thousand steps and a total distance of more than 42 kilometers in 2 weeks. Thanks to him, 637 thousand pounds sterling was raised. The full amount was transferred to wounded soldiers and veterans.

And that didn’t mean the end of this soldier’s charity work. That same year, Phil climbed to the top of El Capitán, whose height is approximately 910 meters.

In 2010, Packer again participated in another London marathon, as well as the national competition “Three Peaks”, as well as founding his own charity, BRIT, which helps children with physical disabilities.

5. Ryan Griffin

Ryan Griffin is a hairdresser from Ypsilanti (in Michigan, USA). He offers a $2 discount for each “small” customer, with only one condition: the child must read aloud while getting a haircut.

The idea is not only intended to promote literacy, but also to inspire young clients to do good work. Fuller Cut hairdresser books contain good and didactic stories.

Ryan has formed an entire team that treats children with patience, cares for them, and helps them learn to read.

6. Rodney Smith Jr.

Rodney himself didn’t stop with the task of mowing the lawn: he also feeds helpless people, collects gifts for the holidays and helps the needy.

7. Rachel Lapierre

Luck wanted Rachel Lapierre to win the lottery. This abruptly changed her life, but not in the way you might think: she didn’t spend her unexpected wealth on herself, but quit her job as a nurse to devote herself to doing charity work. Earning 1,000 Canadian dollars a week, Rachel created her own non-profit charitable foundation.

Rachel quickly found volunteers who became her foundation’s main pride. She is convinced that charity doesn’t just come from material: sometimes it’s enough to take a cancer patient to the doctor.

Each year, Rachel’s organization spends nearly $70,000 to help those in need and attracts thousands of new volunteers.

8. Campbell Remittances

At age 9, Campbell asked her parents to buy her toys to give to children in hospitals for Christmas. They explained that it would be too expensive, so the child decided to make stuffed animals himself.

Campbell taught himself to sew, following patterns. The boy remembers that his first bear turned out to be quite pathetic, but that didn’t stop him from his aspiration and he continued to learn the art of sewing. So far, the boy has produced more than 800 animals.

Campbell himself gives these stuffed animals to children in hospitals. The biggest reward, according to him, is the smile of those who haven’t been happy for a long time.

A few years ago, Campbell’s father was diagnosed with cancer. So the boy sewed a stuffed animal with these words and gave it to him: “This is a champion bear and you will beat cancer”. In fact, the pet was truly magical, helping his father overcome the terrible illness.

9. Sasha Galitsky

Based on her experience, Sasha published her first book: “Mommy, don’t cry”, which is about correct communication with the elderly, without going crazy.

10. Amy Wright

the coffee shop Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is famous for its employees. Almost everyone in the company suffers from some form of disability, from Down syndrome to cerebral palsy. For many of these people, business has become the only opportunity for work and a special occasion to share joy.

Amy Wright was inspired to create such a coffee shop with her own children: two of her four have Down syndrome. And only with the birth of these children, Amy and her husband, Ben, realized how difficult it is for them to live in this world.

When Amy discovered that 70% of people with an intellectual disability cannot find work, she created a non-profit organization designed to help them find employers. But one day it became clear that there are hundreds of people who need to work and, in practice, not many can offer them a job. That’s how she decided to open her own business: what better place to communicate and create a friendly atmosphere than a coffee shop. The establishment opened its doors in January 2016 and, thanks to the press, became so popular that Amy had to look for a bigger place.

Currently, 40 people with disabilities and 2 managers with degrees in specialized education work in the cafeteria. Amy prides herself on the quality of service as at no time are they inferior to other similar businesses.

Bonus: “My kids saw a young man in a wheelchair shoveling snow off the sidewalk and decided to help him. I’m so proud!”

And what do you think: is it possible to make a different world if each of us acquires the habit of helping others?
