Out of respect for animals, circus decides to use holograms instead of real animals

When we retrace circus attractions in memory, it is natural that we remember caged lions, tigers crossing circles of fire, or even elephants balancing on tiny balls compared to their size. However, the price that animals can pay for the entertainment of viewers is really immeasurable, because, unfortunately, mistreatment in areas that use them as a means of entertainment can be recurrent, as is portrayed in several news not only in Brazil. , as in the world; although there is a federal law here about prohibiting the misuse of wild fauna๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท

However, the German circus Roncalliwith a splendid and innovative medium, showed the world how it is possible to maintain the tradition of circuses without having to resort to animal cruelty, exchanging them for holographic projections as beautiful as real animals.

we from awesome.club So we decided to tell this admirable story that is an example of how things can be adaptable without losing grandeur, or how, in this case, to remain a spectacle.

A pioneer in this modality, Circus Roncalli, founded in 1976, like countless circuses around the world, also used trained animals in their performances. However, from the 1990s onwards, the creatures that participated in the show were gradually withdrawn until they no longer participated.

In 2018, therefore, real animals stopped making up the stages for good and gave way to a technological innovation that, in addition to revolutionizing circus art and delighting spectators, had an even greater premise: letting wild animals thrive in their natural habitats. , denying the mistreatment committed against these beings for the purpose of human entertainment.

With 11 projectors strategically divided into a tent measuring about 32 meters, Roncalli brings to life the most exotic and exuberant animals on the planet, in order to create a unique and fascinating experience for those who watch them, using technology that, in addition to being in our favor, it is capable of being charming.

It is undeniable that the investment was high to carry out the project, however, Bernhard Paul, the owner and creator of Circus guarantees that it was worth it. The 3D animals are seen at 360 degrees, contemplating all the spectators who are present at the performance venue. Furthermore, the futuristic spectacle includes scenes that are only possible thanks to holographic projections, things like giant fish, elephants performing acrobatics, โ€œpixelโ€ horses and even a hot air balloon that leaves the imaginary plane directly onto the stage.

However, although there are great shows on the rise, such as Roncalli, with the advent of popular media, such as cell phones, internet, cinema, etc., it is a fact that circuses have become almost obsolete, mainly due to greater knowledge about the mistreatment that animals suffer behind the training that circus life requires. For the same reason, many governments are banning their use in presentations; in Brazil, some states have already enacted laws, as is the case of Santa Catarina๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Both animal rights defenders and the animal rights themselves, we are sure, are grateful for the innovative and thoughtful proposal.

Likewise, the combination of audience fascination and holographic projections they expose well how we can shape our traditions according to the passage of time.

The Circus Roncalli initiative, without a doubt, is a perfect example to be inspired by circuses around the world; the decision was very well accepted and received by the general public.
