• Start by separating the last 2 numbers of your birth year. For example, we will take 1985 as a base.
• Separate these 2 numbers (8 and 5) and add them together. So just add 8+5, which gives 13.
• However, as we still have 2 digits, we need to repeat the process until only 1 decimal place is left. In this case, 1+3 = 4.
• For men born in 1985, the time has come to make the deduction of the number in 10. That is, 10-4 = Kua 6.
• Now for the women born in 1985, we must make a addition of number 5. So, 5+4 = Kua 9.

The influence of Chinese New Year on this account

First of all, it is vital to consider the Chinese New Year, in which the lunar calendar is the main parameter. Therefore, the date falls between the end of January and the beginning of February, at the first New Moon after the solstice.
