It is to you, Lord, that I lift up my cry.
O my support, do not be deaf to my voice;
it does not happen that, you not listening to me, I go to unite
to those who went down to the tomb.
Hear the voice of my supplication when I cry out, when I lift up my hands
to your holy temple.
Do not let me perish with sinners and with those who practice
iniquity, who speak words of peace to their neighbor,
but they keep evil in their hearts.
Deal with them according to their deeds, and according to the grace
of their crimes.
Repay them according to the work of their hands;
give them what they deserve
for they do not heed the deeds of the Lord
nor the works of his hands.
May He strike them down and not raise them up.
Blessed be the Lord, who hath heard the voice of my supplication;
in him I trusted my heart and I was helped.
The Lord is my strength and my shield!
Therefore my heart rejoices and I praise him with my song.
The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation
for what is consecrated to him.
Save your people, Lord, and bless our inheritance;
be my shepherd, carry him in your arms eternally.
